Not just that, the first fight scene with oil spilt all over the place, is a complete copy from the Transporter-2 movie.
How much effort does it take to come up with something original?

just kidding. see it esp as a bunch of bored under grad engineers and you'll realize it.

Full movie is available in Youtube, in case you are interested!!

I called this movie B-grade. I stand corrected. If this movie is B-grade, then all other movies would be Z-grade. This movie is phenomenal! This is the kind of movie that deserves it's share of sequels, prequels et al. Sadly though, they don't make such movies anymore.

This movie can give 'Sholay', yes you read that right...a run for it's money!
Not surprising then, that it still ranks higher than 'Sholay' on IMDB. It's rating was above 8 stars earlier!

It is 'his awesomeness'-director Kanti Shah's Magnum Opus! It is the pinnacle of cinematic excellence!
It's a collective effort of backstage guys and an ensemble cast to create a cinematic masterpiece.

Even the academy awards would be a small honour for this cult classic.
The poetic dialogues and the way they have been delivered would floor you cause you will just ROTFL!

I conclude by saying that I fully agree with this quote from the Greatbong blog,

“There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who have seen 'Gunda'. And those who shall see it.” ——Roger Abhert

Indian cinema at it's best!!!

Watch it!! This is true cinema. All others are posers!!!!

Kanti Shah ka funda, 'Gunda' dekh ke munda khush hua!

My rating: 10/5.

Dabangg is meant to be a crowd pleaser. This is what the crowd wants to see - Hollywood style stunts in a Bollywood movie.

One needs to keep the brain aside while watching such movies. If you try to see the logic, you will miss out the entertainment.

GUNDA; Must be watched like drinkin tea, ek ek chota chota piece ho jaye!! Not for th ones who wants to make sense out of whats happening!

Was a timepaas movie but let me tel why this has been hyped

1) This movie has punchlines in all dialogues
2) They take the viewer for granted and so have brainless scenes!
3) The action scenes are surely shot in a way you usually see in balaya or vijaykanths movies!
4) The villians are all non famous excluding shakthi kapoor
5) Each actors entry into the movie has an intro scene so feels like college ragging
6) The parliament, court are shot in bangalore, the fights in ooty, there is one scene in chennai!!
7) A gal going to college from her house goes up a scenic hill(WOW)
8) Why is mithun so over hyped? He doesnt know how to dance though he is called "Eh s^&** I am a disco dancer"

1 reason to watch it. If you feel dabangg is brainless then this will heartlessly take whats in your head and squeeze every ounce of sense out of it and serve it on a plate. With toppings and appropriate dressing

10/5 for fun

-10/5 if you want it to make sense(IT DOESNT MAKE ANY)

I guess movies like Gunda appeal to those who didnt see the Mithun da movies during those times. I belong to the generation where we used to see movies like Military Raj and Saazish in movie halls, whistling and passing comments.

Popular numbers used to see more than half the hall dancing, friends were made by just whistling together sitting in nearby rows.

I managed to get it. Picture quality is so so. Audio and Video are half a sec out of sync. PM me.

OT: I even made an mp3 out of it to listen while driving. But wifey has expressly forbidden me to burn it to CD and put it in Car.

And yes. The movie is worth watching.
The dialouges are too much.
Too too much.

Sammy, you used to watch similar movies and couldn't digest their baap, 'Gunda'?!
Is 'Military Raaj' the index finger movie?
