same in my case as well. However SWM cess seem to be fixed depending on the plinth area and BBMP site doesnt talk about discounts on them. Thank god we payed it online, otherwise SWM needs a seperate application to be filled if done manually.

Mine was in the category >1500, but online calculated only 30 per month

I have bought a bbmp approved site in 2009 from its first allotte..when ever i am triying to pay the tax 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12, even in bangaloreone or in the bbmp office its showing the name of the site's first owner. They say the new owners details are yet to reflect in some database :(

I am paying tax for the last 3 yrs in the first owner's name..even i tried online..its showing first owners name...

Heard that something new system is coming up where you can update your details aganist your site..not sure though..any light to this issue?

Have you got the Khata transfer of the site done to your name. If not done please get it done ASAP. this is done in BBMP office that your site belongs to.

BBMP has not yet announced the details for payment of property tax for 2012-13. Usually, the last date for payment will be 30 May 2012 without fine.

The Khata is in my name only from 2009 year end onwards.

My dad faced a similar issue and the only way ( that I know) to get this sorted is to go to your local BBMP office and fix it there.

The site was developed by BDA, then handed over to BBMP. So I have clear BDA khata and BBMP khata in my name.. but still when I got to bangalore one to pay my property tax its in old landowner name..

Visited local BBMP offices ( one in kudulu gate and one in begur) and they both said..automatically it will change in the system...its happening...there is my worry..when?

Just a few minutes back, I paid BBMP property tax online for my home without any problem. The 5% rebate is allowed if paid for the full year on or before 30 April 2012.

I have also noted that BBMP has introduced new property ID numbers for each property and tagged the property using GIS map. For details, visit here: http://asbpa.bbmp.gov.in/newpid/

Our apartment didn't have PID number last time when we paid the property tax but we had Khatas with us. We paid property tax directly in the office through cheque.
Is it possible to pay online this time ? I guess the form required would be form IV ?

Either the SAS application number for 2008-09 or old PID is required for pay property tax online for 2012-13. In the absence of these two, the only alternative is to pay by cheque at the jurisdictional BBMP office.

Hi Ravi.. what is the SAS application number ? How do we get that ? Isn't it sufficient to have a KHATA number for online payment ?
