Congrats shubz , amazing bike it is, any particular reason you went for multistrada 1200s when compared to explorer 1200. How much was it on road?

Thanks Raj. Triumph was not even thought of. Didn't even occur to me when making choices. The only time a fleeting thought ran across my mind was at the IBW earlier this year where I saw the Tiger.

Else the choice was between the Multistrada 1200 S or D-Air vs BMW S1000XR.

the D-Air is not available in India. and BMW is a whopping 33L OTR here in Bangalore.

So the obvious choice was MultiStrada.

I am not sure if this has been mentioned here before, but I saw a discreet Ducati Service Center today near Victoria Road, Bangalore.

I think it shares the premises with Volkswagen (its parent company, not-so-coincidentally).

That's not discreet. That's the actual service center. State of the art. Have seen it when it was being finished.
That property is owned by the VST group that owns the Ducati dealership here in Bangalore

Shubh,

"All the Best" is all I would say and no more !

Italians do come up with some great "coach work". Multistrada is a good machine too. Hope to ride together sometime soon in the new year.

Best Regards & Ride Safe

Thanks Ram sir. But I'd need some explanation on what you meant by "Coach Work" :-)

And YES - We shall ride together when you are here!

Yes. The Monster 795 and 796 have been discontinued globally. Now, only the 821 is available.

What a BEAUT mate and what a choice colour. Ferrari looks only good in Red and is an identity of being a Ferrari same is the case with Ducati motorcycles. Red is the colour of choice for Italian exotics.

I am an ADV tourer enthusiast and this is one ADV tourer which has made a mark for itself in the ADV touring circuit with its bucket load of gadgetry, features and not to mentioned those drop dead gorgeous(Italian for sure) looks. Look at it from any angle and it screams Made in Italy!

Some of the features I can think of:
  • Seat height of 33 inches which is comfortable unlike some of its ADV tourer counterparts.
  • Decent fuel tank capacity of 20 litres.
  • Top notch Pirelli tyres if I am not wrong
  • Brembo brakes with ABS
  • Adjustable front and rear suspension with active suspension technology
  • More than enough 150 BHP with powerful 118 NM of Torque
  • Traction control with slipper clutch and ride by wire technology
  • Awesome bang for buck

Also I think you are a fan of V twin motors eh! first the HD Sportster, then the Fatboy and now the Multistrada. Eagerly awaiting your ownership thread.

Ride Safe, Ride Hard and Ride Proud.
