Finally got a chance to see the Linea up close. Saw one parked in our office parking today - gold color. It is really a big/long car - both the bonnet and the boot are huge. Pity that such a big car had to come with engines used in much smaller / lighter cars.

Yeah, it definately is a big car, funny when it is standing next to the Optra, it makes the optra smaller from the outside atleast. About the engine, when you really want that push, it does come...but at its pace. Have you taken a TD, if not I think you should.

Already lot's of TDs are pending on my list - Fiesta1.6, SX4, Swift-D, ANHC, Palio1.6 and now Linea. Could not allocate time for this - plan to do sometime soon. Hopefully before they phase out the Palio.

I just dont understand, why are so many people going crazy about the Blue and Me thing.

Aren't there much better pioneer or JVc units which do all the bluetooth things (phonebook, last dialled calls, redial, a2dp, etc) and also give u complete audio experience.

Integrated blue and me is nice but nothing to be completely bowled over.

Factory fitted goodies come with their share of problems in terms of upgrading or modifying.

Petes tuning box for Linea

Yesterday I was going through my older copy of AC, noticed that in June or July'08 they had published a story about Pete's tuning box for diesel engines and it also mentioned a swift DDIS being fitted with it (no details though). So I guess there is a possibility of tuning Linea for higher performance via Petes tuning box. I read this question asked by someone (don't exactly remember who)

The economy figures are brilliant for a 1.3 ton car... makes it even sweeter a deal

Hey its a good mileage... My palio 1.2 also gets me the same with 100% AC in City. Only thing is I need to put two litres of Petrol for achieving it

When you get anything above 18, get a snap of the MF Displaya and post it in here

Let us know when you get the details back and I believe you are talking about the diesel. The diesel Linea anyway has quite good torque so I guess it will make for a very very good expenditure........now I am seriously thinking of buying the Linea diesel.
If anyone of TBHPians Pete the Linea, post the results.
