Thanks, Some sort of power upgrade is coming for sure either petes box or rd ecu. Just waiting for some more kilometres maybe 15000 kms would be the perfect time to upgrade the power.

The gloss in the pics is greatly enhanced by formula1 car wax, excellent product i have been using it since my Indica times.

Oh. Now thats the secret. I was thinking some Post processing was done on photo to look glossy.

Punto looks cute in last photo

anshu , anything specific you did during the running in period ? I did not find any instruction specific to running-in the car in the manual. I got my punto delivered today.

@sdp1975, I followed what i read in my Elantra manual long back (i got my Punto manual after running in period). I did not rev the engine beyond 3000rpm plus i made sure i never accelerated hard for running in engine properly.

anshuman , another question : what's the idling rpm of your punto ? Mine kept hovering below the 1K mark - between 800-900.

Is this OK?

@ sdp 1975, The idling rpm at around 800-900 rpm is perfect if it is constant.

HI Guys,

My punto is low on fuel , and did the full tank last..!
Now my question is morning when i checked the range it showed 54 Kms , and after that it beeped " Low Fuel Warning " on the display .

After that it is neither showing average consumption or the range .

Is this normal ? how much fuel might i be left with in the tank . i wanted to know .

Will Full tank her soon tough .

The Distance to empty indicator goes blank when range is detected to be less than 50kms. For average consumption figure display can be toggled using the button on wiper stalk.

Hi Anshuman ,

I know that the button is on that stalk , but it is not showing Instant consumption after the " Low Fuel " warning . is this normal .?
