Spotted this car on the main road near to MG Road Bangalore . Looks like it's being used though did not appreciate most of the bling but that's strictly my choice

This car in question, is a Morris 8. Reregistered, obviously, as "MHI" is a '70-'71 Poona number.

Located in one of Poona's fringe villages.
Quite battered, if you look at it that way. But, it is a runner. As is typical of such cars, this one seems to be running motorcycle tyres.
Also, the original headlamps are not present.

But, let's just agree that its nice to keep these cars running in whatever manner possible.

So, ladies and gentlemen, I hereby take the wraps off MHI/4153.



Coincidentally, MTJ 4150 is one of Karl's Delights. (Same RTO, same Decade, similar numbers!) Coincidence always knocks on the door, eh?

Hey everyone!
A non-enthusiast friend of mine spotted this 1969 Pontiac GTO here in Jaipur (sorry for those pics - I didn't click 'em!). I regret so much not being there , but posting whatever I have.
It was a West Bengal registered beauty!

Sorry, but its not a GTO. Its a 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass coupe. Could be the 442, the muscle car version of the Cutlass, but can't say from the photos.

As for the WB registration, brings me to this interesting post.

Oops! Looks like I confused it with a GTO, because of their resemblence. Since the GTO and the Oldsmobile 442 both belong to GM, their looks almost match each other. But in my case, I am stupid as I overlooked the 'Oldsmobile' badging at the rear!


And for the WB reg. thing, the car that has been mentioned in that post is a blue Oldsmobile. So, there are less chances of both of them being the same car.

A PYS registered seafoam green Fiat 1100 Delight.



Our Delight is in a very similar shade, in quite a similar condition, and was formerly PYS 5775.

In love with the Green Delight again!

A ratty-tatty Delhi plated Mercedes Benz W111.

She still runs on her original petrol mill ,I believe. US Spec, as is evident by the dual barreled headlamps.



A Madras Presidency registered Willys CJ3B is seen in the background. And specially for Shyam- A battered red Herald MK-I is also seen in the background.

That's a four door, all 442's were two door coupes only

Wow Wow... Finally after 22 years i get to see her( If she is the same one), She was Blue then and used to be at a Apartment opposite mine at Middleton street, Kolkata.
