Spot on! Yes, all the Herald models mk1-3 came in this colour too, known as "Powder blue". My favourite colour incidentally.

This run-down late 40s Dodge Custom(?) Fluid drive is briefly seen, mostly in this song from the Tamil movie "Boys" (2003):

Any idea what car Rajkumar is driving? There's a good view of the front of the car just past the one-minute mark. The song is from the mid-70s Kannada movie Prema Kaanike. Arati's looking sulkily sexy and the song's not bad either.

As for the car, seems to be a late 50s Ford Zephyr/Zodiac mk2:

Incidentally, it sports an early 70s Hyd. regn. Maybe the song was filmed in AP?

As for the sulkily sexy bit, I'll reserve my comments as its, in any case, all a relative opinion- at the time of the movie, such adjectives would've been connected with the likes of Helen et al.....this actress would've been seen as a sweet, innocent, homely thing!

Not exactly a Bollywood movie, but from the old TV series "Malgudi days" if you remember it.

This Austin 7(?) saloon appears briefly in one of the episodes.

Here's a mk1 Herald turned into a convertible that appears briefly in this late 70s Telugu movie, "Maro Charithra", starring Kamal Haasan. The same movie was then remade in Hindi as "Ek Duje Ke liye" with again Kamal in the lead, and was relatively more popular compared to this movie that was intended as what were known as "budget films" those days. Very simple settings, no colour; taken entirely in B & W and very less background music used in scenes/dialogues and usually limited songs.

This car sports a Vizag (Vishakapatnam) regn. 'could've been fake too, as is with most movie cars. 'wonder if it still exists.
And it appears that there were actually 2 Heralds used in this movie, again common with most Indian movies! Because the colour of the car in the last pic. @ the "Burmah Shell" (now just Shell) petrol pump appears slightly darker than the APV car in the first 3 scenes. Also note the lack of any folding convertible top on the "darker" car, whereas the APV Herald seems to have one (albeit a tatty one)

Like everything else in this movie, there was a "topless" Herald also used in EDKL.....but that was a red one with a USV regn. and with rusty chrome bumper cappings.

BTW, see what's painted on the bonnet of the APV Herald- poor owner must've been really ambitious!!

A '53-54(?) Plymouth convertible(?) used in a few scenes in an early 80s Telugu movie 'Sitaara':

I think it is similar to this car?:
