Saw this in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It's a 4x4.
The jeep is in use. Fairly well maintained, dont see any obvious modifications. A little rusting here and there. (Under-side of mud-guard is just mud, not rust)

You can make out a single shock between the fender & below the grille.

Also two vents behind the front wheel.

The round sticker just above the rear wheel says "5th Raid de Himalaya"

Gear lever knob showed 5 gears. The gear lever for the 4x4 option looked more like a stub - you can just about see the knob at the right of the main gear lever

This is just how a WW2 Jeep should be maintained...matt finish, not spotlessly clean, yet presentable, rather than the over restored Jeeps we see these days.

Perhaps its an incorrect gear lever knob, it originally is a 3 speed box.

May be he lost the original knob.

Did you notice the old style dipper below the dash, in the center ? Thought it was a little out-of-place & beyond reach of driver.

Felt so good to see it. Will try let the owner know.

Gurus,
Need your input. Came across a 1968 Willys Jeep with Peugeot 309 diesel engine in it. The guy is asking 1.8L for it. Is it really worth that much or is he just shooting out a wild number.
