I really wouldn't know, but what I meant was that many period WW2 accessories were presented with the car, including the stove in a canister.

gotzuk, The stove canister unit was not a standard accessory on the Willys MB/Ford GPW. These were accessories given to military units for use.

dominator, Lovely Kaiser Jeep (modified of course) and Land Rover.
Is that a Jeep Thrills sticker on the side in the Land Rover ? Is he also in the Jeep Thrills?

Hi,

The bonnet also suggests it was a M38A1 as the cover right below the wind screen is for the 24V battery.

I could be wrong, please correct.

Cheers !!!!!!

Is there really such a thing as a WWII LandCruiser??
AFAIK, The term LandCruiser was coined in 1954, almost a decade after WWII ended.
Cheers

Guys.

There were no Land Cruisers around for WW 2. The first version was made in 1951, which was a copy of the Willys Jeep called the BJ. This had a 3.4 liter OHV six cylinder engine and was more powerfull than the Jeep.

This was followed by the 20 Series from 1955 to 1960. Then came the legendary FJ 40 which was available in various guises from 1960 to 84.

To celebrate 50 years of the Land cruiser Toyota presented a show car at the Chicago Motor Snow in 2003. It was their vision of what the original FJ 40 would look like if it was to be produced in the 21 century. This was not intended as a production model but due to great popular demand it went into production in 2006 as the Toyota FJ Cruiser, a truly awsome vehicle.

The current Land Rover is the considered to be the ninth generation 200 Series wagon.
