This morning we had wonderful weather which made it better to stand outside Starbucks than in post our coffees and munchies . Battery died so could not get the VW Camper and the Miata which joined us. The fiat 600 had a full Italian job done to it and looked awesome . While roaming the by lanes of fort came across this cafe with a very nice scooter and sidecar along with a very vintage camera attached on the side. Cheers

The Sunday Vintage Drive meetups keep getting bigger and better!
Packard,Fiats,Beetles and an Alfa Romeo among others, absolute delight to the eyes.

The Packard and Fiat 600 pic is my favourite among the lot

You should, having lived with all its quirks including chugging along on three cylinders without complaint all the way from Udaipur to Bombay

He was on his own spin though I saw it at the WIAA. A very very nice car indeed.

Haha, I'm definitely in for Mahableshwar, will celebrate my birthday with you there! As for the drive down south, my friends are already trying to buy suitcases that fit the Amby's boot

great, and make sure you pack a couple of spare cylinders as well, never know when you might need them!

This Morning we had a lovely little drive starting from the Starbucks at Fort and headed on the eastern expressway and back for some much awaited coffee and car talks. Witnessed the sheer power of the 60's european sports - The two Alfa's and the 190 sl and they were fast

. Tried to catch up …gave up

finally. Also spotted Mr Dhabolkar and his lovely Austin … every sunday is wonderful sight to see him and his dedication.

While dropping my car back came across three very arty Auto's and after catching up with them before they headed to town they told me they have been driving for three months or was that 8 months something like that across India. They are from Sweden the whole group of 13 and were headed tomorrow driving down to Cochin. Happy Bunch !

Great day overall and let the snaps do the talking !

There was a Mercedes Benz event which had taken place on the BKC Starbucks . Have one or two images and will try and get more

good show ! good pictures ! loved viewing the SL , the ponton , the fintail , all the other mercs , the convertible benz, the chevy and dodge vintage cars & all the alfa romeos !

And the classic drives continue this Sunday for our classic car drive me and karlosdeville travelled in our fiats all the way from Poona. The morning was cold and the drive lovely. Both cars made it to Bombay without a hitch except for one puncture on my car due to a leaking valve. And a very jumpy battery in Karl's delight.

Enjoyed the drive to Bombay after ages - this time in my 72 Delight, with Amol in my ex :( 57 Elegant for company (quite literally the beauty and beast - and both MTP i realised later). We made it just in time to meet the Starbucks boys. Amal's 600 and the black Beetle were superbly presented - thats the advantage of owning a mass produced classic - parts supply is plentiful and easy to source. Well, relatively, I'm sure.
