Superb pictures guys Santaji, Dhanaji hats off to you guys and your enthusiasm and of course your dad who has really nurtured your talent. I agree with Kasli we will leave our cameras home for the mahableshwar trip.

My favourite photograph is the Rolls Royce at the opera house traffic signal and my Ponton nose at the jazz by the bay signal.

Great to see the old ladies gliding down the roads. The packard in my eyes looks the most elegant and the foursome parked opposite starbucks , makes a nice picture. Are all four also going to Mahableshwar??

Probably Yes! except for the Beetle. That will be replaced by their very original Camper Van. The owner Of the Rolls Royce was a bit unsure whether he would get the Rolls Royce or his Buick. But most likely he will get the Rolls Royce. How about you? have you decided on the steed of your choice?

It would be nice to have a Rolls, with a red light on the roof, leading the way. I have yet to decide, but in all probability it will be american metal. The camper should be a treat for the eyes, and of course a nice place to relax in if a car breaks down, whilst Jehangir works his magic. We will have to just persuade the camper driver to be the tail in the convoy and carry lots of chilled beverages.

I am informed by the HVOCT club at Thane that a charitable vintage car event is being held on the 11 th of November Sunday at Thane. The charity being supported is Sparsh. There is no entry fee and entrants will be provided with snacks and momentoes. So guys lets drive upto Thane and support our friends. This is also a good opportunity to test our cars on a slightly longer run before mahableshwar. Distance to an fro being roughly 60 kms. I am told by the organizers that they will free the drivers by 10:30 or so.

Time for another spin with our beloved cars this Sunday and details just as simple meet at the Bandra side of the sealink 8-8:15 am and head for a cuppa coffee / breakfast and some chit chaat.

And every weekend the numbers grow! This time we had a good bunch of cars and enthusiasts who came down for the run. Some pictures i took from my iphone camera. Others will post more. Santaji, dhanaji we missed your avid photography skills.

It was a lovely drive with the beauties and a nice way to spend another fine Sunday morning.

By sheer coincidence I spotted cars from this drive outside starbucks, and stopped to say Hello. Lovely cars, great enthusiasm, and NO POLITICS.What could, as Roni says , be a better way to spend a sunday morning. Unfortunately , for me, sundays are reserved for the family. If once in a while the drive occurs on a saturday evening, I would love to join. Young Yash was missed, maybe he was in Rajkot at the media unveiling of that lovely Rolls. Nice to see the numbers growing with each drive. But its not about numbers. Even if two friends decide to go for a drive, I think thats great. Why wait for the annual rally?? Drive and enjoy ourselves should become every vintage and classic car/bike owners motto. No awards, no momentos, no prizes, just pure unadulterated FUN.
