SERIOUSLY? Really, is it owned by Behram Dhabhar? If yes, where did he get it from? Seems to be in a reasonably good nick!

Something tells me you are joking! Because, Alfa Romeos are pretty rare in India, and if Behram Dhabhar were to buy one, I sure would have heard about it a lot, or I might have had seen a thread on the same.

Cheers,
Fintail/Heckflosse!

Hi, Behram is a relatively common Parsi male name, there is not only a Dhabhar with this name. And this Behram has / had two Alfa's. Though they are rare, they do exist. And a collector took away about three Alfa cars from this area to Bangalore.

Cheers harit

I was aware of that fact. However, thanks for correcting me.

Another drive with a few of us . Many from the trip of Rajasthan . Had a few good laughs and discussing the experience of the last 12 days . Had a photographer taking advantage of the situation and having a photo shoot without asking the car owners . Extremely funny ! And the tryke marketing club line their tryke's outside Starbucks . They have rear view mirrors haha ! Cheers

Re: The Classic Drive Thread. (Mumbai)

Yesterday was an eventful sunday . We had the pleasure of two Buick Convertibles and A lovely Dodge. The zippy Austin and two fiats in total contrast. American metal in Black and Yellow just showing the sheer size of things . Our very own Amol and Dnyanesh with their Tri Star Beauties

Photographers are funny … just look at the angle the guy was shooting the car in The Classic Drive Thread. (Mumbai)-001_7765.jpg

Hi Kasli,

Can you please share some pictures of the trip? Can you also please share your learning from such a trip? Heard it was very well done and everyone had a great time. Congrats on the successful run.

.

Hi KPS,

Ihave no pictures to share, but Learningfrom the trip??

The fact that 40 like minded people , some meeting for the first time, lived, ate and drove together for two weeks and had a most memorable driving holiday. Not a single unpleasant incident, with all ,including the brave women smiling constantly, and most importantly, asking when the next drive was planned..

Lesson learnt? Have the confidence to drive these cars as they were meant to, do not store them and then tart them up for prizes once a year. Enjoy your ownership of these beautiful pieces of motoring history.

A drive without prizes and judges , what bliss

Re: The Classic Drive Thread. (Mumbai)

This Sunday we met like the last with just 3 ( though the Biscayne was driven by the Dad ) and then joined the Fiat Meet which was starting off at Nariman Point. Our usual car talk

The 170V and the Carrier Fiat were seen enroute to me reaching Starbucks and the SL was on its regular sunday spin Uncle and nephew

Cheers

This was clicked by a friend, will ask when exactly but AFAIK, should be just before or after he clicked the Packard
