Re: The Classic Drive Thread. (Mumbai)

A great drive and some new cars this time. Thanks Karl the Caddy has indeed stepped out after 7 years and drove and behaved well. minor issues cropped up on the drive and have been noted for correction. The Shirkes camper was seen by me for the first time and its such a beauty. I am sure they are having more fun than desired in that. Everyone will see alot more of the Caddy now ...lots more !

Though the weather was hot and a little more than degrees. Our usual drive and across the Starbucks at Fort. Did not take many pics of the Yellow Studebaker but if do find will put them up.

Cheers

Do you have any more info on the yellow Honda mobike in the first pic, regn # MH 01 E672, please? Is it a CB Four or Twin (doubt because of the single exhaust on the right side - can't make out on the other side at all), cc, year of manufacture, etc? Has it been restored, or in original condition? Looks splendid!

Great to see the black Mercedes again. I suppose the tuning of the twin carbs has been sorted. Beautiful car it is indeed.

Can I trouble someone to put up a clearer shot of the red/burgundy Jag(?).

Thanks

OT: Just noticed, BYJ 66 on the yellow submarine, er, the Studebaker.
And yesterday's BYJ 64 on the white Landmaster found at Kurla.
Is BYJ 65 still around? Would be interesting to know which brand was registered in between.

The cars look beautiful, Kasli your Caddy looks great. First time i am seeing it without the flames after a long time. I can see that she is overtaking the Packard for your affection. Sorry i could'nt make it as I had to take delivery of my wife's car from Pune.

That a very tough judgemental call. But the Packard' s the Packard.. Nt possible to overtake it , but yes this is a comfort drive other than size as its an automatic ! Congrats to the new car to you also. Flames ! Always tempted to add them back. But now get this live and kicking around town. 7 odd years !

Cheers

Are you sure that's a Honda CB750? At first glance it looked like the Kawasaki Z1.

Here's why

Sounds just amazing!

That is Mr. Dhabholkar's loveingly maintained Austin, I think he bought it in the 1960s. Unfailingly regular at events, I believe this slightly larger body style is not so common.
