We had a great time, I'm glad I could make it. Left Pune in my Fiat at 5:30 am, reached Bandra in exactly three hours including two short stops. Visibility was terrible for most of the way!

Nope, this is the green 57 seen in the previous pictures. While she looks shabby, the car is a good runner. Will be taking her to Mahabaleshwar at the end of the month too.

Just to thank you historic car owners to have taken along a vintage car tourist too. Sitting in Karl's Fiat 1100 while speeding down an empty Marine Drive has been one of the best Bombay experiences for me, yet!

We had to leave early unfortunately, but i'm already looking forward to the next one! We should have another drive before the Mahableshwar trip.

What spectacular pictures! Sorry I missed today's meet because of personal compulsions but yes let's do one or two more drives before we head out to mahableshwar. Btw are you getting the beetle or the van?

The Buick looks superb who owns it, has almost the same color combo as Kasli's Packard !

You guys need to have a a weekend gathering each weekend like they do Carz and Coffee in the US and then set off for a drive with whoever is interested !

But thats what we do, meet at one end of mumbai then drive together to the other end and then have coffee, of late we have been terminating our drives at starbucks at horniman circle.

Thanks! We're planning to get the camper-van unless it's not ready by than, or we'll get the Beetle.

As the last drive was cancelled. Thinking of another drive this sunday 25th Nov 2012. Meet at the same spot - the Bandra side of the sealink at 8.00 - 8.30 am & head for a cuppa coffee / Tea topped with enthusiasm.
