By the way if any of you want that really cool tissue box, let me know.

In fact i will email all JBL showrooms, if any team-bhp member goes to the manager and tells him he's from team bhp, he will hand over a tissue box FOC... ummm... even if you dont buy a thing ok?

Thats the external gain control for the subwoofer amplifier. Very handy.

X, in case a dealer doesnt help you, you can always visit the JBL showroom at GK1, when passing by. I've emailed the manager, he'll give you the box.

ok the gain control on the Alpine HU is not a big range but one can get around that in a cleaner fashion....change the effective input resistance of the subwoofer amplifer! This involves opening the sub amp but since my sub was built by me it was not an issue.

Remote control advice

@Sam, I have a Sony CDX-F5510X HU.
Wanted to find out if I can connect it to a steering mounted remote control.
If yes, what is the model number of the remote control?
Of course, I would prefer it without any messy wires sticking out from everywhere.
I have a Petra with an OE leather steering wheel.
Approximate cost would be helpful too.
