the Xenos Hu was mated to teh Honda OE speakers which was damn crap. And I was sitting in teh rear (and hence 6x9 Xenos) , but didnt pump up volume to hear it properly as I just wanted to change those speakers asap.

Pre-concieved notion? I would not knock it till I heard it. You never know when someone sews a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

might be but they are all chinese product and all the low budget people who fall for B/W when compared to pioneer or sony speakers in that range....

also might be they must be sounding better than the sommoko or dhoom speaker.....but I dont think I would ever recommned them to anybody.......

never judge a book by the cover. china does make some nice audio (just ask any EU company - many soruce their manufacturing there).

many years ago I heard a plain vanilla Blaupunkt cassete player mated to a pair fo china-fake Nakamichi speakers that made some nice sounds.

i believe the talk is revolving around Xenos HU & not speakers.

and i too do not believe in comments made by the mere mention of the names. why shouldn't xenos sound decent ? i have not heard it. but it might perform exactly like a pioneer or a sony. why shouldn't it ? doesn't pioneer also manufacture in china ? doesn't intel manufacture in china ? who doesn't ?

china has many manufacturer ...some make nice product and some doesnot....it does not mean that all the chinese products are good.

these xenos are probally chinese product with a label of xenos on it .....the pricol would have arranged the speakers or the other products like hu from a chinese brand and label it xenos to promote it....

I think it is a only money oriented copy nothing to do with sound....

Thats why my commnets...if some one found the xenos sounding good please comment on it I will surely try to auditon it and post the comments on the same....
