Your problem is solved if you have components in the front and rear.

Infinities, Focals are good components. Think over it.

Hope Navin and SAM would agree with me.

navin uncle thank you. ive gathered so far i can fit 5.25" into the rear speaker pods. i dont think i need to do any mods for this. secondly i needed to know which components i should see for the rear. JBL doesnt have any 5.25" i think as i didnt see any on fxaudio site.

the front is the jbl 607 compos which i have heard and they sound good.

looks like i need to convince my friend into a second amp and the jbl bass tube.

Vid, JBL does have 5.25" like the 527 and the 507 so do Infinity (more expensive) and Focal (even more expensive).

You can use components for the rear if your budget allows for it. I use components in the rear of my notchback (Octavia).

If you are set on JBL, I do believe that a JBL 607 (front) and 507 (rear) combo will be work fine. A small sub and amp can be added later.

There is the GTO527, which is a 5.25" coaxial speaker. This is sold in India too.

I meant to type "I'm Bob (Sam's uncle)" anyway I have since corrected my post (oh the benefits of being a mod). That typo distracted Sam from the true operative word in my post 4503 (hint: it's on the 1st line)

Sam beta, does not JBL have a 5" component called a 507 as well?

Absolutely, navinji uncleji. JBL does not have a 5.25" in CS series, but in GTO, there is a coaxial (as i said in my previous post) called 527 and a 5.25" component set called 507C

ok thats great. i seem to have overlooked the 507 on the site. silly me.navinji not set on any particular brand. ive heard the JBL 607 and liked the sound very much. ialso like the boston FS-60 compos.
ok to summarize:
Pioneer HU 8850
JBL GTO607 front compos
JBL GTO507 rear deck compos
JBL CS60.4 4 channel amp

is this ok? im looking out for the basstube and a monoblock sub now. looks like budget will have to go up.

My dads colleague has booked Fiesta diesel in Cochin and is planning to bring it to Bangalore for his son... called me to find out regarding ICE as he has no clue.

Some questions :
1.) Whats the OEM HU of the Fiesta like ? Im unsure if its an intergrated unit or if the dealer has just offered HU as a freebie gift.

2.) What can the Front/Rear factory speaker pods accomodate ?

He is keen to put in a subwoofer as well so in all probability the HU will need to be replaced I reckon.

Suggestions/Ideas please

Hey S0uljah,

I Think Its An Intergrated Unit.

But BUDGET ??

Budget = a big ???

This I wont really know until the car is in their hands. He told me that he wanted a subwoofer setup... I mentioned that with a new HU, it would set them back around 25k+

@Zak, most definately I will offer your services to them They might come to bangy and get the work done but will let them know!!!

Fiesta FRont/Rear speaker sizes anyone ??
