If I can get 7K or more off using this scheme it's a very good option imo. Any dealers in bangalore whom people have availed the offer from?
You can get this offer even from smaller stores. Two of my friends have got iphone 4 with this offer and one guy knew the shop owner and after haggling for prices, he got almost 9k off for his Lumia 710. I would suggest go to smaller shops and they might give you better deal looking at the phones resell value. Actually deal for the dealer is, 5k is paid by apple for the exchange deal and phone is also with the dealer to sell. So they have to make at least 2k from then phone

I was using Vehical to calculate petrol expenses, but latest OS updates is causing it to crash (whenever I try to change any item in settings)

Is there any similar or great app which also gives an option to email the csv file?

Used 2-3 apps, nothing beats Vehical, the most simplest and feature rich.

Pls suggest free apps.

Re: The iPhone Thread

I have the following issues with my iPhone4 32 GB after upgrading to iOS 6.1.3

1) When i put my phone in Silent mode, it does not vibrate.Tried all options on the internet. The vibrator works on the phone, as it vibrates, if it has been specifically set to vibrate for a particular contact.

2) After locking the phone, if i take a pic and then swipe to the left, i am able to see the whole album in my library. This was not the case previously, since it was restricted to only the pictures taken, when the phone was locked.

Anyone facing similar issues?

Sounds like a software bug.
Try resetting all settings.
If that doesn't work, you should try restoring the phone. (In this situation reset settings, take the backup and use this backup for restore)

Re: The iPhone Thread

Thanks mjumrani, i will consider it.

And for all the guys who are having Video needs try the OplayerLite. It plays the video files along with the srt files also. No need to convert, Just paste the videos in the iTunes where it directs to.

It is pretty self-explanatory.

Yes, indeed it is a software bug.
I had the same issue with the vibrator on my phone (point 1) and after resetting the settings, it is back to normal now.
Not sure about point 2 as I have not experienced it as yet.

Yeap, buying personally does help but this was just so that he got the phone with India warranty since he will be using it in India. But as you mentioned he keeps travelling to US so no issues there
Bought the unlocked iPhone 5 last weekend for my father. Bought a sim cutter too & his existing BSNL sim worked just fine after cutting.

He probably needs to get the correct APN settings but other than that everything works great.

Thanks everyone for their suggestions

For APN settins, log on to unlockit.co.nz from your iphone. Select the service provider, Download the settings, install them.
Well thats pretty much it.

Re: The iPhone Thread

After following this thread for a long time, picked up a i phone 5 today. But at apple store they tried to cut my sim by the sim cutter but its not working now. So have to wait till Monday to get a new nano sim from the vodaphone store.
