The difference between the first and second photos are before and after applying the 'improvement' changes!

True; my Nokia 6300 2MP camera is pathetic when taken in low light, but the same thing in day time with some good sunshine and the photos are great!

That is for the Elf.

For the HD you need Blackstone roms.

Watched a movie in a friends HTC HD last week and and it was good. The larger screen surely does help.

Those are nice shots.

Here are the photos from my HTC; same place, with two different setting. The second one is with the default setting and the first one with setting based on HTC forum's best setting!

Yup; it is even the setting that I am going to keep, stock.

This image looks good even on my PC and even on the HD. The first one looks too 'cooked'.

Facing my first application crash last night just after making the above post. It was a cpro.exe or something like that. I guess it is the contact manager program since I was trying to save a contact and the 'crash - do you want to send report' kept popping up!

So, as with Microsoft applications, re-started the phone and so far so good.

Did my first Hard Reset (back to factory setting) today.

Had installed a theme (for transparency), hated it and it was removed. But the guy left behind some changes which I just hated and tried for 2 weeks to remove... with no success, just restored.

Always take backup in frequent intervals so that you can restore the settings to the recent one. I have been saved by these backups when installing softwares which corrupts the phone.

Tried out a new GPS tracking software - TrackMe ( Luis Espinosa's website ).

This one generated pointers are regular intervals (can be specified) and then generate a KML file, which can then be used to view in Google Earth. You also have the option of upload the KML files to the free server available and view your path.

Now need to find a way to use this saved path as a reference and be able to follow it, the option which, I am not able to find now. :(
