Has this problem recurred?

I have been using this phone since the 1st week of Jan and I have not faced any problems with it.

Nope; problem not come up. Hope it was just a minor glitch which went away by itself.

@HW,

Hows the HD managing now?
I was curious to know if the following was seen by You!

>>>>The touch screen is the best I have used to date, with one caveat. You need to take care when it is in your pocket. If a text comes in the screen becomes live and in my experience the phone then makes calls without your knowledge.

Quote from GSM Arena dot com.

You can disable the phone wake up on SMS setting. This takes care of the problem mentioned by GSM Arena.

Hey Rocky,

HD is holding out well. Not storage card issue and no issue with the screen also. As said earlier, I have a full cover. So, even if the screen becomes alive, there will be no contact and 1 minute later, it goes back to sleep.

And thanks for the tip, Vikram. Just incase I need it.

Hey Happy Wheels. About the game which you recommended, do I download it straight to my HTC Elf or to the PC first.

You can download it to your phone, but it is a huge 12mb file.

Thanks Vikram and HW for the info.

@HW, good to know the card problems did not recur.
How about posting a photograph of the HD with the new shell.

Hey Vikram. I just downloaded the game to my Pc first and then copied it to my Htc Elf. Then I installed it but when I want to start the game it says - " The file extract cannot be opened . Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."

You can download it to either your PC or to the HTC. It is a cab file, so just run it off the HTC for installing.

Tried reinstalling too but still the same message comes. Does it make a difference if I'm installing it on to the memory card.

If you are getting this error message means that the cab file is not meant for the elf. Look at xda-developers.com's Elf section to see if there is an installer of this game for your phone.

It does not matter where you install it as along as you have enough free memory.

Hey Lonlystar.. For 33.5K, you get HD here in Hyderabad and hopefully in your city too...then why would you consider Cruise at all!!
