Good job mine was free then .

Not really used my HD much, I have been happily using the Diamond for a few months now.

Happy Wheels how are you finding the satnav on the HD ?

you truly are lucky!

Using Garmin maps here at Singapore and it is spot on all the time. Even though traveling is easy here and cabbie's usually do not take your for a fun ride, it sure does come in handy.

And, BigMan, why still with diamond? Finding is easier to use than the HD?

I find the diamond a bit easier to carry. In terms of functionality they are pretty similar and the GUI is the same so its just the size which makes me favour the diamond.

Yes, the diamond is indeed smaller and easier to handle. But I find the 'diamond' cut shape a bit queer! Just my opinion.

And true, functionality are pretty similar; would risk to say that if not for the better screen, HD would not have made much difference from Diamond.

Sir Alec if you had mentioned earlier I would have sold you mine for RS28,000. I could have got my dad to carry it to india, a bit late for that now.

BigMan,

Have you faced any issue with regard to the storage card? I have had 2 instances where the card suddenly went missing and I had to soft boot to get it back.

And no, it was not after a drop or any sudden moment! I have one more person here who is facing the same issue. Are you?

To be honest Happy Wheels I have used the HD for less than a day because I tend to favour the Diamond. When I have used it I have not encountered any problems.

Have you checked the HTC site for any fixes ? It also might be worth checking the xda-developers forum to see if it is a common problem (and about fixes).

Take off the card and wipe the terminals clean, re insert and ensure its sitting proper. Undue pressure (keeping in tight back pockets or falls can cause this).

None in HTC site. Search on XDA also turned out zero. :( (but got some interesting games! )

Will do that and monitor. I never keep it in my pockets, but, I did drop it just once few days back. But since this is also the same issue with an other person, who I am sure treats it like his baby, did not think the dropping might be the culprit. Let me check for few day after the wipe now.

Now, for all those people who have a windows mobile phone and time to kill, here is a game that will catch your fancy. It is a bike race, with firing and stunts and all that.

RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

(Got this off XDA; not a cracked version nor a illegal version; reckon it is safe to post here)

The graphics is just too good. And play with your headphones to get really blown away!
