Re: Samsung "bada" OS thread - Tips, Tricks and Hacks

@dreams - i went to the samsung service center in RT Nagar, Bangalore. They have it clearly documented any water damage is not covered under warranty.I guess it depends on the extent of the damage, the gentleman there infomred me there is water damage, i informed him to i was ready to pay as it falls out of the warranty scope which was still present on my phone. He cleaned it up for free and the phone is working

Re: Samsung "bada" OS thread - Tips, Tricks and Hacks

Couldn't get hold of any service centre, enquired a local dealer and he is asking 1200Rs. Have politely asked my sis to wait, search for a service centre and get it cleaned. Hope to get a free cleaning.

I dont think a new theme was downloaded in my case, anyway the phone seems to be working fine so far. Will have to update the firmware sometime soon.

Finally gave the phone to the service centre and they have estimated a amount of Rs.650
Cause, Water damage and the water has created some short circuit, so the charge.

I got the email regarding the same but I didn't register as I don't have any apps registered yet. I had started on few ideas but never got them to complete. If you are attending, share all the details with us here.
