Just joined the merry band and plonked down an online booking for a 1.5 Diesel Auto.
The booking went easily, when I used Chrome - it appeared to be hanging in Explorer.
I got a call from Kia-Advaith within 1 min of making the booking, asking whether I had done so and was given the details of their service advisor.
The person mentioned vehicle test drives from 03 Aug, also the option of changing preferences after the test drive.
The website also reflected my order when I re-booted it.
I received an automated payment receipt from the dealer online.

I've been trying to get an OTP and do online booking since the past entire day and even after 70-80 attempts havent been able to get the OTP.

Dont know whats going on, might just goto Dealer and book it from there.

EDIT- Finally used my father's number for it and got the OTP immediately.

Booked the diesel seltos, hoping the htx+ is as fully loaded as the leaks suggest. HUD can live without if rest all features are there with the automatic.

Dealer saying I will get delivery in September 1st week now. Lets see.

Dual tone interiors are a welcome addition. Wish they had provided some physical buttons for the infotainment system. That rear aircon matrix like display somehow feels odd.

I see 4W drive and lock indicator on the display. Should we expect a 4WD version in the near future? That would be something to look forward to.

While many of us jumping the bandwagon and booking the Seltos. I am still in utter state of confusion as my kid wants the sunroof and there is no sunroof in DCT. My requirement is I want the DCT and not the TC. He tells me not to buy the car otherwise. Haha :-)

Aww such a good father. But none the less i feel like sueing Kia for advertising their features in one page when none can be had all together.

My dealer at sparsh kia confirmed the same. As per him the car will arrive at the dealership by 22 July and an early august launch. That is as on 22 August they plan to deliver a few cars.

After driving S Cross 1.6 for almost 4 years as primary car along with ANHC as back up, I need a similar or better car in auto tranny, preferably petrol!

Will Seltos turbo petrol automatic meet the expectations? I'm not in hurry & can wait till 2020.

I think Driving Rear View Mirror in Kia terms is something similar to Honda's Lane Watch Camera available in CRV & Civic.

I am not 100% sure, but the words sound similar.

Reverse camera might also be the thing, but it will be available from Mid variants, so i guess it might be a live feed of traffic behind on Central Touchscreen.

Tell me about it. This is exactly what Mahindra did when they asked for Rs. 20,000 for the pre booking of the XUV. I feel into the same trap and pre-booked it only to cancel the booking within a day of the on road prices being revealed. It took me 3 weeks of constant follow up with Mahindra to get back that money into my account. I know of others for whom it took even longer. For that period, it was a deposit sitting in the account of the company and the interest earned, however, small, was to its benefit. Classic method of overplaying a product and getting free customer money for a short while.

I am pretty sure that a lot of the "pre-bookers" will cancel their booking once prices and the irrational feature lists are out. I would like to be proven wrong, but certainly is my gut feeling.

The driving rear view monitor is the reverse camera activated while driving. This is also a feature in the Hyundai venue.

Even i don't understand! Except the fact that meerkat and Tiger Shroff have some sort of bitter rivalry. Other than that no focus on displaying what car offers! Money wasted by Kia!
