BANNED | ![]() Yes. But as per others on the thread I can expect more! Which I am rather pleased about. So lets see what happens when the engine beds down properly along with the tyres and suspension etc. Once it settles in, I guess I will also settle in to a more predictable driving pattern too. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() My Honda City S AT gave me 11.5 KMPL and then 12.5 KMPL at the last two tankfuls. That's entirely in the city with the AC on. I might just make a run to a nearby hill station on the 4th/5th of next month, so will report back with highway figures if and when that happens. |

| ![]() My ANHC with MT gave me 10.4,10.5 and 11.0 in the last three tankfulls with AC in the city. Slightly lower mileage because of low running per day i guess.... |

Roads down here in Punjab aren't that great and I wanted to test the max FE it will give me at various speeds. I am never in a hurry and usually keep at 80 max, much safer for me and others on road. I trust the OBC for the FE figures as I have compared it multiple times with manual calculations with the fuel and km driven. It's quite accurate.

| ![]() Car: Hyundai Santro 2009, 16,000 km on odo. It gives me 14-15 km/L in Mumbai traffic, with AC always on and flooring the accelerator whenever I get an open stretch of road. |

Ours gives ~13 kms in Thrissur traffic with a fairly light foot. Got over 80k kms on the odo, but it has given us only the same fuel eficiency from day one.

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() That's some good mileage from WagonR. I have never got such figure, no matter how lightly I drive my 2007 WagonR LXi. My running cost is over 5 rupee per KM. |

| ![]() I switch off the engine whenever I expect to be stopped for more than 30 seconds. I guess that helps me get better fuel efficiency. |
