Received my Collinite845 last weekend. The order (through email) and the delivery process was smooth and received the product in sealed condition.

Couldn't manage to apply the last week as was fully occupied with work, did it today - at the end of it I guess I must have lost 2kgs

Started in the afternoon and with breaks in between completed around an hour back after removing dust (Jopasu), cleaning (interior-waxpol/exterior-armorall, collin for glass/windscreens), washing and then collinite. As its already dark I dont know what exactly is the outcome, tomm shall try and post some pics.

If you have the time then this stuff is also good for use on alloy wheels.

Yes, I have been using Collinite-845 everywhere possible, alloys, glass, windshields, plastics etc. Collinite gives lasting protection from water/rain dirt wherever applied. The alloys are a lot easier to clean due to Collinite.

I could see the Windshiels bead like carzy during the heavy rains; the water just glides of the windshields.

Apart from all the well deserved praises collinite 845 has received so far i'd like to mention one more thing- It was so easy to apply and buff. It took less than 90 minutes to shine the entire exterior of Octavia without power tools, and was a lot less tiring. Any other wax would've taken way longer.

Even on glass, windsheild?

Yes, I have used it for last 2.5-3 months, didn't face any issue. Infact found that wipers are less put to use due to thin invisible layer of Collinite.

@AvonA7, your car looks asbolutely magnificient. Especially the Polo red looks fantabolous with deep wet shine.

Believe me Collinite-845 will stay for next 3 months or may be more.
I covered my car with one layer 3 months ago, have seen my car through Pune rains and Sun and still could see great beading in yesterdays heavy rain.

Stunning job on the Polo. As long as you don't use a wax stripping car shampoo, the 845 should last you a while.

Amazing shine on the polo. IT seems quite happy-- smiling face. I think that the layer of these waxes on the car's bonnet require reapplication frequently after some time as compared to the other parts of the car, which must be due to the heat generated by the engine. At least in my case it does.
Collinite users do share your thoughts on it.

Its an industrial insulator wax so should it not be ok with heat?

On my car it has stood the test of time on the bonnet for 6 months at a time.

Hi All,
I am so convinced about the excellent results of Collinite after reading your experiences that I will be very soon getting one pack for my Honda Jazz and old Santro.
I do hope the initial scheme for Team BHP members still continues.
About the application in the windscreen though - any specific ways of application? I hope the coating does not effect the wipers performance in removing water and leaving no smear (more visible during night driving ).

This is the first time I am using these products and all my knowledge is from team-bhp .

Today noticed one more thing, generally I use Jopasu duster to clear the dust.

When today used Jopasu to clear the dust - the duster moved so effortlessly, no need to press, simply drag and smoothly it moves.

So a layer is formed after waxing, protecting the actual car body/paint to get in contact with the dust and this I believe would be protecting the car paint.

Nowadays there are many car shampoos which says wash-n-wax, I am wondering what would be the effect of these wash-n-wax shampoos on collinite. Any comments!

I tend to use Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash as it is apparently wax friendly. I did read somewhere that wash and wax type shampoos could wax in tiny dirt particles.

I wipe the 845 off with a microfibre cleaning mitt similar to the wash mitts you get. Works well and quick to get the whole car done. Also please remember to take off any jewellery like rings or bracelets before waxing and washing your cars.
