Sounds very interesting!
What turbo are you planning on using ? What about injectors ?keeping stock and upgrading ?
Going internally wastegated or external ?
What are you gonna do about the manifold ? make one ?

Intend to put in a brand new Garrett T25. Keeping stock internals with new bearings & rings just to be double sure. The engine is in perfect health with 38k on the odo. Manifold would be custom built.

I am sorry, but I am not technically very sound. That is Phil's department & I really do not get into nitty gritty's as I do not know the technicals. Let him come back & I shall try to answer your questions more specifically.

Cheers

Excellent, good decision to take it in stages. Warning: Boost is addictive.

Will do as soon as I know. So far we are talking of the whole package, surely it would work out cheaper (I certainly hope so) The whole thing excluding the cost of the car as it stands today should be touching 2.75 - 3

Cheers

Give us some pics when you get the kit. Is this a bolt on kit? Invest in a good boost controller also.

Congrats Ricky, I am sure this would be one killer project. Waiting for more updates on this. Will the car be ready by the Redline Drag event scheduled in Delhi on 4-5th Dec?? Would love to see it in action.

Thanks Manan,

I am told the stuff is already "on it's way". Well, killer project ? Now is that not relative ?

One thing is for sure, with the quality of the stuff going in, it should be among the fast-er Swifts. Don't want to draw comparisons with B16 Hondas etc

Ya the car should be ready before the month end. I have coaxed Phil to get it ready, but I will not push it.

There are quite a few MONSTER builds lurking to unleash themselves at the Redline. So my car by comparison is like a "sober" car !!!!

Cheers

Oh Hello Mr. Matthai,

Nice to know you are back, what no shopping in South East Asia & I thought or rather assumed that is where you were headed & would certainly "source" some goodies for the build !!!

I am totally "relaxed", why do I need to worry about things when the build is in your hands

As for the B16, that was just to say that I hope my Swift is fast but I doubt it'd be a B16 eater

Cheerio

and a B16 is no Evo beater .... lets not walk down the path , its a bottom less pit. trust me .

nice daily drive which goes when given the stick is what a nice build is all about. number games are nice to only inflate or deflate egos.

I quite agree with that.In my opinion too, its the fun factor that matters. As long as you have fun driving the car,its immaterial what power its putting down.
