Get down to a MASS and am sure they will sort it out. And yes, you do need a relay.

Ankit...I have purchased from a very reputed shop at opera house,mumbai and having purchased myself and seen the packing i dont think its a fake relay. Wiring and ceramic holders are of some local company marked as AE, relay was not part of wiring but wiring had slots compatible for bosch relay. bulbs are philips H4 for 330/- for two.

It is an electrical work. No reason why they will not do. Unless you are under warranty, which is when they will resist.

sukrit, I had got it done at MASS on my Zen that was still under warranty - But that was 10 years back and in Bangalore. So it may not be a good reference to you. There are many of them - so check with them near you.

Can anyone please advise if I can upgrade my Crystal visions to Philips Rally 130/100w for my OHC type2 ? Are they worth it? Will it damage my casing? IF anyone has installed them on their OHC, can you please put up some pictures of the throw, spread and luminosity? I have a lot of highway driving and I need some really bright lights. OR, should I get the Chinese make Bosch 6000k Bi-Xenons? Any help would be highly appreciated.

100/90 is enough 9thsphinx, atleast that's what i think, got them just recently, and tried them out on the highway as well. An upgrade to any light is possible, u'll just have to spend on relays,casing etc. Can't say about the city, but for the baleno, 100/90 requires a relay and preferably wire change. gurus, please correct me if i'm wrong.

@sukrit7 - Like I said, source the parts from outside and get it changed from M.A.S.S or any good electrician. You're better off this way then sending the car with your driver to a shop, not knowing what he's put in.

@9thsphinx - I don't know how the OHC HL takes on the 100/130 bulbs' heat. But if you can, then get yourself a 4300k HID kit (even Chinese is OK). And like I said again, Crystal Visions are bad news, at least to me.

@anantnehru

How do you find the performance of the Hella 450 lights, have you got a chance to test them and are you satisfied ?

Coz I am not, I find the light inadequate

Well test them in the sense put them on at night, no real fog as such these days.
Honestly speaking they arent that great, but not passing any real judgement as of now because maybe in fog they will be better. You're right, the light seems to die before a reaching decent length away from the car. Wondering if I change it to clear glass whether they will serve a better purpose. But dont know if you get glass sets for Hella separately.
OT, I feel quite stupid as the other day I was going through a cupboard and found a set of the same Hella 450s neatly packed in the same box. Must've been from one of the earlier cars we had. Probably taken off, put away for storage and COMPLETELY forgotten about.

The only way of getting projectors for your Verna as of now is buying the whole kit separately and doing a retrofit. I know because a few friends of mine are also looking for projectors, with no results except a retrofit.

The Retrofit Source (U.S.) -- Welcome to The Retrofit Source Store - The Retrofit Source

Just thought this site could come handy for people interested in buying retrofit components!
They ship to India.
