I think i saw H4 extreme power bulbs in car palace, kdpuram. but they were quite overpriced. I recall sankar telling me that they were available cheaper in spares shops

What are the halogen options I have?
4300K HIDs are the closest you'll get to normal light. Any lower and you'll have to pay a lot more. Any higher and you lose usable light.

People using 8000K HIDs are worse off than using bog standard 55w halogens.

Oh yeah, please don't put them in your halogen reflector headlamps. Change to a full projector setup.

Try philips and Halonix. Depending on your car's reflector design, either of the two can be good

Lots of reviews are available on the web for both the lights. From what I have read both are terrific lights. If you have the mullah, go for it. You may want to check the new Lightforce 210 Genesis HID too.

I was interested in Lightforce 140MM some time back. They cost you 17000 Rs per pair inclusive of 12.5% vat

I would recommend philips or Narva (not sure of the exact name of the bulb, but it used to come with a yellow tinch). If you're very particular on only lighting, go for Philips 130 watts

Is a projector setup available for Fiesta? Or is it possible to make one? What are the best halogens that I can get into the stock Fiesta reflectors? The low-beam and hi-beam config?

any bulb with a coating will give less light than an uncoated bulb. So its always better to go for clear bulbs if more light is the need.

I finally managed to get hold of a pair of Philips Xtreme Power +80% H4s from an accessory shop in Vashi @ 900 a pair. It's worth it as an upgrade to the stock headlamps in my Indica.

Same here in Bangalore! I ordered for a pair from Autoshop, Kormangala. He called AK traders (distributor) and confirmed Rs.900 a pair!
