Just check does the i10 supports H4 headlights first.
Thanks indeed. Yes. i10 comes with H4 60/55 bulbs. Can not be upgraded to 100/90 as it involves cutting the back-panel of the lighting casing to install connectors. Hence Night Breakers are the best upgrade.

I recently read this news in Times Of India on police fined people with dazzling lights!

502 CASES OF DRUNKEN DRIVING
In a weekend drive, the police have booked 1,202 cases, of which 502 cases were for drunken driving; 235 were held for sporting dazzling headlights, 175 for dangerous driving and 86 for jumping signal lights.
Just last week, police had seized eight vehicles for dragracing on Bellary Road and Jayamahal Road in RT Nagar traffic police station limits. Five youth were held for racing on that day.
Police have set up special teams in every station to nab street racers who choose major roads like Bellary Road, Airport Road and MG Road for racing.
Additional commissioner of police (traffic) Praveen Sood said “We will continue our drive against such races during weekends and send all cases to the court after lodging an IPC case against them.’’

What is definition of Dazzling Lights?

Anyone with a official numbers on permitted Dazzle

I contacted Nilesh. He was very responsive when I mentioned that I got his contact details through Team BHP. However, he insisted that the price is Rs. 1600.00. He even called again saying he has stocks and gave me directions to the place, However I decided to pass since his price is the same as the neighbourhood garage and hence it does not make sense to go all the way to JC Road and find parking.

He is very responsive and a good guy.

Speak to him again and tell him that can he give it at 1,250/- and that is what i took it at and mention him that everyone on this forum has paid the same price which was bought from him.

I want to fit more powerful bulbs in my Safari fogs with out altering the wiring. Is there any solution similar to Osram night breaker for fog lamps ?

Is this advisable or a useless waste of money as Fogs are focused at a nearer point so does not make much difference ?

The fogs I think are H3 so will fitting a Osram nightbreaker H3 a right choice ( assuming it is available ) ?

If have to choose between fitting an aftermarket Hella for a better throw and width of beam and fitting a bulb with better luminescence in fog lamp socket which will be more effective in rain and fog ?

I mean fogs are focused at a point near to the vehicle so does a better luminescence value going to help ? And do the aftermarket Hella Fog lamps work as fog lamps or enhancement to headlight ?

If not Hella you can also look at Lightforce, which has very good beam and distance and good in rains and fog.

Yes you can use it as enhancement to headlight

And i doubt if Osram Nightbreakers are available with H3

100/90 Headlamp conversion for Ford Fiesta

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade the bulbs on my new Ford Fiesta(2008) version.

I have checked in a lot of places and I was disappointed to hear that the 100/90 conversion cannot be done with the Ford Fiesta.

I was also adviced by one of the workshop guy that I can simply swap the bulbs to higher power watt bulbs without any relay/wiring kits.

I need your help guys. I am planning a long drive to Kerala from Chennai and the stock lamps are not adequate.

Thanks in advance
