Dealer: PPS (MPS) Motors, Hosur Road, Electronic City.

Congratulations. Checked a few vehicles out myself, the Limited(O) 4*4 variants are as old as August 18 manufactured, ask for a full fluid change before delivery. Was tempted to get one of them, but I will await the automatic Trail Hawk that is due shortly.

Which colour did you choose? They have black pack option as well. Black interiors are so much classier and easier to maintain.

Is an MT in the offing? How is the AT, fast, I hope it is fast and not slow like typical SUV's [Endeavor and worse the MU-X].

Yes, we loved the black pack version too, but there is no BP in red. If I am not wrong, its not available in factory too.

Mine will be from factory and I have asked for November/December manufactured not beyond September. Red dual tone.

The MT will not be offered. Saw a few Australian reviews and the ACI first drive of the Trailhawk, most reviews say that it is neither lightning quick nor it is a slouch. Should be ok for an SUV like the Compass.

Yes. Black pack is available only on the white, silver and grey colours.

The Limited(O) variant has been discontinued. I guess they are reworking the line up to include the Trailhawk and the automatics.

Yes, I saw these two, one silver black pack and one grey black pack. Briefly we considered this grey black pack but later dropped the plan.

These two numbers really look mean – especially the grey one!
And the black interiors would be easy to maintain as well.

New Jeep Compass Sport Plus variant coming soon

Quote:
Positioned above the base Sport variant, the Sport Plus gets additional equipment and is available with petrol-manual and diesel-manual options.

New exterior features on the new variant will include 16-inch alloy wheels, black moulding around the rear windshield, black roof rails, reverse parking sensors and ‘Sport Plus’ badging on tailgate. The cabin of the Compass Sport Plus will feature a 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and dual-zone climate control that can also be operated via the touchscreen display. Standard equipment from the Compass Sport like dual airbags, ABS, ESC, traction control, daytime running lamps, front and rear armrests, electrically adjustable ORVMs and remote keyless entry, will be carried over.

Like the base Compass Sport trim, the Sport Plus will be available with a 163hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 173hp, 2.0-litre turbo-diesel motor. Both engines power the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox, unlike higher variants of the petrol Compass that get a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The outside of the new variant features 16-inch silver alloy wheels, black roof rails and a Sport Plus badge on the tailgate. The rear windshield and tops of the doors also get black cladding. Rear parking sensors, which are not available on the base Sport variant, are also standard.

On the inside, the Compass Sport Plus gets dual-zone climate control, which can also be controlled via the 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display. While it may miss out on kit such as keyless entry and go, power folding wing mirrors, a larger 7.0-inch infotainment screen and the 17-inch alloy wheels available on the higher-spec Longitude variant, it gets the same level of safety equipment including dual front airbags, ABS, ESC and traction control
