Hi,
I recently got my seltos htk model but I found that headlights are not good. What are the after market updates possible for good throw and brightness.
Should I just replace the bulb with a higher wattage bulb or should I consider LED or HIDs ?

Booking the Seltos GTX+ 1.4 DCT tomorrow. Was mighty confused between this and the Harrier. But in the end the petrol automatic was the difference. My daily usage is 80% highway. Can I get 14-15 kmpl with a slightly lighter foot on the pedal?

Yes with a lighter foot you can derive even 16. Below is shared by a fellow Seltos DCT owner on a 500 km journey, Kochi to Bangalore. This wasn't strictly on a lighter foot.

Seems like they are hushing up things, the below Instagram post is nowhere to be found now.

Also autoportals like Motorbeam, Rushlane, Autocar, etc never ever report Hyundai/Kia issues like this but happily report issues of Tata.

May be this is the way Hyundai got through all these years in India despite having many serious issues, and Kia is doing the same now.

While TML is taking direct digs at its rivals, rivals might be taking indirect digs like using the paid media to defame Tata etc. (Just my assumption)

It should be doable provided you have light right foot, petrol from a reliable petrol pump, and don't cross 80-100km/h limit! With occasional hard acceleration I am getting 12 km/l in Sports Mode.

Looks like a prank

Seltos touchscreen does not have physical buttons.

Looking at the buttons, it seems to be the new i20 touchscreen.

Edit: I might be wrong that seltos does not have buttons. I see buttons in the latest brouchure. Are they touch buttons on the screen?

I got this in Chennai, but honestly any mobile accessories shop would be able to help you. They have larger sheets and cut it for you.

Only thing is you pay for the whole sheet and there is wastage but I think for Rs 350 it is worth it.

Do not touch the wiring as then electrical warranty will be in question. Just change into a higher wattage bulb for now. Does the job.

Must be a single vendor for both the companies which makes the software for the head-unit. Looks like a software bug which wasn't caught during QC. A patch must be in the pipeline.

Yes, that looks like the 10.25" screen of the Seltos which has such backlit touch buttons. Even the AC vent below the screen are similar as Seltos.

Another likely option: Since Hyundai and Kia share the same head-units, someone might be doing a prank by clicking 2 different pics of two different cars. Steering and touchscreen are not seen in the same frame.
