Yes, that's true for most of us, but for many the payment gateway re-direction took a lot of time.

On the booking numbers, I think the B-9999 series seems to represent the first 10,000 bookings, and then starts the B-1000 series and then the B-1010 represents dealer bookings, in some cases, but not all. Just my theory based on the sequence of deliveries, there are delivery exceptions in some cases, probably based on variants.

Yeah same here. In fact I went one step further and made two bookings from two different mobile numbers with different dealer selections too. One got confirmed with 9996*** and the second with 9997***

Changed the second one to Mocha Brown interiors later, though that was not my preferred option. Why I did that is still a mystery.
Anyways, I haven't received any update so far on either of the bookings.

My guess is probably, the model, color along with the city of dealership is also key for allocation.

In any case, never realized a few seconds here and there does matter so much. Thanks to Mahindra for that realization

Mahindra is pushing out what it can out of the production line, AX7L models seem to be limited for now.

This booking situation is created to hide the fallacies of their production capabilities.

To be honest, I've lost hope, might lose interest as well if things continue to be this way.

Mine's B-999*, played fastest fingers first at 11 AM, got the payment gateway go through 40 seconds into 11 AM, hope i get my Stealth Black 4x4 Mocha Brown in early Jan 2025 as Mahindra suggested

In my theory these could be site instances via which Bookings came through, and the same was shared via loadbalancer to the three servers. Thus, Data Analytics at backend would be having the complete consolidated data of GCP where it was hosted.

The consolidated data would then be sorted into White and Mocha.

I.e. Level 1 filter - White & Mocha
Level 2 filter - Variants
Level 3 - Already available Dealer products which were slotted for Premium, First available match to models available at particular Dealer to meet Dusshera timeline.


Hence, providining Delivery timeliness accordingly post matching the buckets to production capacity and timeliness. Real interesting thing would be to see the internal dashboards , one independent of bookings and second having booking to assembly line integration. If they don't have these they need a good Architect and Project manager especially in IT.

Even I had booked within 30-40 seconds into 11 AM. Tango Red AX7L Mocha Brown. But mine is B-1013****. So not sure if there is any significance of the Booking numbers.

Maybe once OTF (Order Taking Form) numbers are generated then it may indicate some order. In that, the first two digits generally indicate the delivery year. Ex: OTF25A001*** for Jan 2025 delivery.

That's very Strange my booking reference no. Is Alphanumeric was booked withing first 2 mins. Of payment as the payment processing was slow. It starts with ,BZo9********

What could be the permutation combination here ?

My SA has told that I will be getting mail from Mahindra , expected today or tomorrow.

Just had a chat with Mahindra customer support. They said we will get an update on the waiting period by EOD. I hope this is true.

I received the OTF from my chosen dealer on 11th Oct for an online booking I did on 3rd Oct. If your logic on the OTF numbering is true, how was the dealer able to say the delivery will be in 2025 when even to this day Mahindra is yet to confirm the delivery schedule?

On 19th Oct I had emailed Mahindra customer care. At the bottom of their reply my name, phone and OTF was mentioned. It started with OTF :- OTF25E0xxxxx

Any idea, what does it signify?
