Check out 'Sadanand' at the Suratkal Junction, else 'Suraj International' which is little ahead on the highway.

re: A thread on Accommodation & Rates

hi guys I need a triple sharing room in a hotel in Goregaon(W). Nothing fancy.just a budget place with an AC room. Parking not required. Could not find many on Google so if any locals could suggest would be great.Preferred areas around Bombay Exhibition centre or inorbit mall.

re: A thread on Accommodation & Rates

Folks,

Any pointers to Goa accommodation, preferable South Goa from 10 nov onwards. I will be driving down with family of 4 including myself. My twins are aged 9, so following are priority points!

1. Beach Proximity
2. Clean and hygenic.
3. Family room, if available

Thanks in Advance...

I hope to be in North Goa from the same date.

The hotel booked by me meets criterion 1 & 2.

Was not looking at criterion 3 for myself as we are 4 adults and sharing 1 toilet cum bath would have been a handicap.

Of course, I have been allocated 2 adjoining rooms by the hotel which is the next best thing for criterion 3 if the group comprises adults.

Kingstork Beach Resort, Holiday Street, Calangute. Rs. 2,800 all inclusive per night including all taxes and breakfast. It is rated pretty high on TripAdvisor.

The place was suggested to me by RajeshRawal and Silverwood helped me to book the place when he was there in Goa with his family of 4 staying at the same resort. I have paid 1 night retention charges in advance at the time of booking itself.

Don't know if I too late to help you out, Lucky hotel in Goregoan E is a decent option (since you have not mentioned your budget, check it out) - Link on the Plus side , you would get the famous Lucky biryani also.

or this service apartments in Goregoan East - Link.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Sounds like a good option. What were children's charges?

Stayed at Kingstork 1st Nov to 3rd Nov. Clean, Neat and very well maintained. Please carry proper swimwear if you wish to use swimming pool. They are very strict about it. No smoking inside room (you may at balcony). No room service of food etc to maintain cleanliness.

re: A thread on Accommodation & Rates

Can someone let me know a GOOD hotel for a quick coffee and break in the following places ? Thanks.
  1. Nagapattinam
  2. Velannkanni
  3. Vedaranyam
  4. Thiruthuraipoondi
  5. Mannargudi
  6. Rameswaram

Cleanliness takes precedence over everything else

I grew up in some of these places, so I know how dirty things could be...but it has been a LONG time (decades) since I visited these places. Planning to go in December. Advance thanks for your help and suggestions.

Can someone recommend an economically priced tree house (just for a night) somewhere around Ooty area?

By any chance you travel through Thanjavur, Hotel Parisudham is a good choice for clean food and service.

I don't think you will get clean hotels anywhere in Thiruthuraipoondi and Mannargudi. At Velankanni, don't step into any hotels near church, including Sea Gate.
