BAABARR -

Just watched this today morning. Was doing nothing else so started watching it on DVD. Quite interesting I'd say.

Not in the league of Satya - BUT almost halfway there.

It's about a criminal from Kanpur - UP, who killed at the age of 12 and then continues to become a local gangster doing extortion, murders etc.

Om Puri & Mithun play the Police. Good acting by both of them. A bit violent at many place with hardcore language.

Dialogue / Dialect is just the way people in Kanpur & Lucknow speak. Impressive acting by everyone including the new actor ( Baabarr )

Urvashi plays the love interest - Average. The end is a bit tricky and sort of surprising.

Overall a good watch if you got nothing else to do.

Verdict - 3/5

Has anyone been looking at the promos of RADIO ( *ing HIMESH ) - His stupid song Mann Ka Radio has a striking resemblance to SAVAGE GARDEN ??? Both the video and song. Or is it me only ??

I just saw this song - What's yr Rashi featuring many different avatars of Piggy Chops / Pranks. Quite a nice hummable number & PC looks nice !! Do not much about the movie though

Watched YMI. A good movie showing the real problems of India. A good effort in that direction, but I thought at a few places things were idealistic. Like when a politicians son realizes his mistake ( even their very very distant relatives never realize anything ), the case is withdrawn for the doctor.

But overall a very nice movie, worth a watch.

Wanted to watch District 9. But, wifey wants to check out Hadippa. No choice. Have booked tickets for tomorrow night show. Let's see what is in store for us!

Come on woof - you can do it (Watch Hadippa) and tell us how bad it is exactly.

Wanted is also looking like a B grade action movie in the promos. :(

Whats your Rashee is also looking like a going down the drain kind of movie - hope AG manages to pull something off. I doubt it though !

I am waiting for BLUE ...ooops for LARA in Blue. She is HAWT HAWT HAWT.

Next Hindi movie I'll probably watch is the "Road Movie" . The promo is looking promising and with Abhay Deol being the protagonist it's going to be a good movie it seems.\
