My longest single day trip was in US. Seattle to LA, about 1800km, in a Ford WindStar MPV.
In India, longest is numerous Chennai - Karunagapally/Trivandrum trips (750 - 850 kms). Fastest is 850 kms in 11 hours; solo, so minimum halts, in my OHC.
Longest multi day is NOIDA to Chennai in 3 days in my LandCruiser, with night breaks.

Gears,
Red-One.

First fine $180 + 3 points in Albany, second fine was in S.Carolina $180 + 3 points. Had an absolutely clean License so no arrests or suspension - Managed to get the NY points waived by taking a 'careful' driving class later in the year!

No Pics for the Harleys, but its quite common over the summer - I saw another 80-100 driving up to Vegas from LA. They have an annual drive or something...was pretty cool!

Bangalore-Mysore-Mangalore-Cannanore-Mananthavady-Kutta -Mysore-Bangalore

900 odd kms in 36 hours in the Lancer .

The best stretch was the Kasargod-Cannanore-Mananthavady ...i was driving for the first time on this route and i was surprised to see such awesome roads in my backyard....unfortunately dont have any pics :(

Before replying to this thread I made sure I read the first post thrice! The question itself is vague!

The longest drive in terms of time or kms/miles driven ?

I will make it simpler!

I drove from Bangalore to Udupi [ around 300 kms] in 14 hours last October.

The next day drove another 600kms or so to reach Goa [in another 12 hours] !

Otherwise I do frequent home trips in 10 hours [580 kms] or 12 hours [620 kms] depending on the route I take. The first one via Salem , Theni & Second one via Mettur - Coimbatore - Palakkad]

re: Longest Drives!

The longest I've done in a day is Mumbai-Mysore - about 1200 km in 17 hrs. Have done this about five times over the last two years.

Do you mean 1000km in 12 hrs. Does it not mean an average speed of 120kmph?

You must be driving in excess of 150kmph always. is it possible on Indian roads?

Its Avg speed of 83.33km/hr. Its more than possible on GQ sections where i could cruise at 130-140 easily. Plus i left home at 3 in the morning so i avoided most traffic in Bangalore.
