Is Fevibond as strong as Feviquik? I don't want the logo to fall off again.

Check out this thread - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/techni...-headlamp.html

Adhesive discussion starts after Post#13

Personally I never tried fevibond to fix logos!

For that I have a 3M mounting double tape.(bought it a long time ago, cant find it here now-a days. You might find it at some big stationary shops etc.)

Use this with very cautious. If you're little careless, it could stick your fingers too. Read the instructions twice before even opening the pack. Trust me, it works!!!

Oh ok. I am planning to take preventive measures and apply it around the logo Wonder if that will work.

stuck the logos (1.6 and the GTX) with Quikfix (did not find Fevibond / never thought about Araldite) today morning.

Dropped couple of drops of quikfix on the rear windshield and tried to clean it with a cloth. - will try and use nail polish remover / Doctors' Spirit (petrol as a last option) to clean the mess as suggested by normally_crazy / me-sid.

On my Maruti 800's bonnet!

I bought my Caribbean Blue 1999 Maruti 800 in Jan 2009. It has the name 'Santosh' clearly inscribed on its bonnet in font size ~100 with some sharp object and in Tamil Script. I do remember first noticing it when I bought it, but did not care much about it and it is still there! I had bought the car only to learn how to drive, but I've made it my main car for now.

'Santosh'.. Maybe that's why its a happy and peppy old Maruti 800

Try using a bit of kerosene or turpentine but ensure that u take a very little of it on a dry cloth or a tissue and wipe it off. if the stain remains can use polish to clean it off.

Rains again. No security guard. Some lowlife decided it would be fun to:
Remove the petrol pipe and open the tap.
Remove the breather pipe from the carb.
and for some totally crazy reason steal the oil cap.

I must have lost close to 4 liters of petrol. The idiot did not realize that if some smoker had happened to pass the whole place would have blown up.
The breather pipe is just a very dirty thing. God only knows why anyone would even touch that.
The oil cap-dip stick is missing. I tried searching in vain. Need to buy a new one.

I have a small prayer to God, may that dip stick end up in a very unpleasant place inside the person who did this.

A couple of months ago, my karizma's front fairing along with the speedo console was lifted off by thieves when it was parked at a shopping complex. Ten thousand rupees gone down the drain!

Very annoying/infuriating as bikes are easy to vandalise. All the components are exposed.

Damn ! :( The karizma's fairing isn't a 5 minute job that it can be whisked off that easily. Atleast I know now that the 220's fairing is a nightmare to remove.

Today,a kid was trying to whisk off the 3D Pulsar badge on my 220. Caught him firmly and said he can have the badge if I can take out his eye in exchange. Ran off scared and I tried to follow him if he had his parents / guardian around. Would have given them an earful for raising a vandal.

P.S : The kid didn't look like a street urchin at all.

Originally when I had gone to book my bike 3 months back I asked if it was possible to swap the 3D pulsar badge with the normal stickers one gets in 150 (not anymore I guess) . P220 / 200 stickers / badges are prone to be stolen by those who don't have it on theirs.

Only if a laser / machine-gun turret could be fixed so that it shoots the hell out of whoever tries to manhandle / damage it on purpose.
