After heating it pushes idle RPM down to 1100. Definitely not 700-800. You think something is wrong ? I will have my car picked up tomm. anyways.

Also in my car there was a fuel leak at the place where the fuel filter is connected to the engine. Rats had eating away a rubber bit which caused the leakage. However in case of a fuel leak you will most probably be able to smell the petrol odour. Last edited by sumeethaldankar : 7th April 2015 at 23:12.

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Not a very clear snap I believe. Looking for feedback on the condition of the mount in my car. I have no telltale signs such as jerks, noise etc yet. |

Alternatively, you can do the ECU reset yourself by following the ECU reset steps from Civic user manual. See here: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/long-t...ml#post2661542 Quote:

1. A new mount will easily accommodate two 5 rupee coins with some more space to spare 2. It is time to replace if a single 5 rupee coin is a tight fit. 3. A normally used mount will be able to accommodate a single 5 rupee coin with some more space to spare. Please see if there are marks showing that the two parts, the alloy arm and the rubber mount below, are touching each other. Do a visual inspection for any signs of contact. Also feel the mount where the alloy joins the rubber for any leaks, normally the mount gets cut there and the hydraulic oil/liquid filled inside leaks there. If the above two tests shows no signs of contact and leak, then the mount is fine. I have seen a mount which had the gap, but touching each other when the engine was abused.

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() So I decide to look up my mount too, and here is a picture. The gap is significant, but can see 'contact' on the rubber. Is it going kaput? ![]() |

Btw i have noticed a thunk noise even after replacement with a OE mount. I wonder if it's something else.

If you don't have track days ![]() I do not see any signs of leak from the picture and that is a good sign.

| ![]() Guys I have received the car from HASS Kalina. They looked into the RPM issue and asked me to observe the mileage. I left the tank almost empty and will fill it up tonight and let you know the status. |
