Cyrus, the car was last started 6 months back, and the condition of the car is bad..

Here's what looks like a '55 (smaller fins) Plymouth rotting away in a corner of the same garage where I'm getting my herald done up...as you can see, the areas with more rust are the ones where the car was worked on! The regn. is from the mid 70s though.
The garage owner said it belonged to another mechanic in Secunderabad whose sons fought for his shop after his death & the car ended up getting abandoned here in the process.
Its been fitted with a Diesel engine (as is common with these cars!)
He's not sure about it having papers though. I dont know what has happened to the other parts (dash etc.)

And a Standard Super 10 right beside it. Looks to have lost its virginity in a big way already with the cut-outs for Maruti van tail-lamps (ughh!) and front indicators!

Sad for that 66 Beetle.

Every damn thing looks original.

He ! whats that suzuki sticker doing on the steering wheel, and the steering wheel must be of pre 60's

Sir Alec, if that guy's gonna sell that piece, better pick it up at a bit higher price.

Beetle's are becoming an extinct species right now.
