What are the other cars in the collection . Great over all finish . Have the meter dials been made ? Or reprinted to white instead of ivory shade which come as standard ?

Cheers

It wasn't this impressive when he acquired i am told, and given his penchant for perfection, i cant see him settle for anything less than originality/factory spec...

He still needs to work quite a bit on the Morris to say its perfect but nevertheless superb effort and enjoy it more than wait for little brass plaques or cups

Cheers

Re: Vintage and Classic Cars on Display in India

Spotted this Vintage car today. I'm not really good with identifying Vintage cars, so please forgive my ignorance. But am curious to know which car this is. Experts please help!

Saw this beautiful Lanchester parked yesterday at the Imperial Hotel in Delhi with what seems to be British Number plates.

Does anyone know of any foreign rally in town or could this be one of the first cars to arrive after the import restrictions opened up?

This 1925 Lanchester belongs to Peter and Sue Noble and was a participant in the Roarr classic car rally this year, which incidentally started from Hotel Imperial.

Here is a picture of them in Rajasthan

This couple regularly takes part in Rallies and might still be in India .

cheers

Did you notice that the car is LHD - unique for a Lanchester of that vintage.

Aren't cars on rallies under the 'carnet' only allowed upto a maximum of 6 months? And it's certainly been more than 6 months since the Roarr Rally.

If I am not mistaken, there are provisions to extend the Carnet by another 6 months on payment od additional fees and guarantee letter from the original Carnet issuing authority

Best Regards & Drive Safe
