Spotted this beautiful Mercedes 180

It is a 190 there was no 180 in the fintype series only 190 and 200 in the four cylinder series.

The 180 was not brought forward from the Ponton series.

I hope this one has the original engine. I can see it still has the "Becker Mexico" radio.

Yes, thats a 190. Don't have the pics right now. Will post tomorrow.

Where are these pictures from.There are some other interesting cars to be seen around like the Land Rover and the Jeep apart form another Merc to the left of this one. The second pic has a large vintage sedan visible too. Please do put up more pics of the other cars too.

The Yellow New York inspection sticker would either mean that the car is a US import or someone has brought that from the states and put it on this car. This kind of sticker would have been issued for each year to confirm that the car is roadworthy.

The Bowring Institute is a intellectual think tank or so in Bangalore if I am not mistaken. The owner of the car appears to be a member of this institute.

I think it is the khodays garage - i could be wrong. Bowring Institute is a hell hole - corrupt to the core

Nope, its not Khodays. Its a very famous Garage near Lalbagh.

This car was originally in cochin. It has an aftermarket (isuzu/toyota i think) diesel engine. It was up for sale 2 yrs back for 5 lac, then 4... 3...2 and even lower, don't know what it changed hands for. Is it in TVM now??

the garage guy told it was there for some minor repair and was going to be delivered next day to owner.he said the car belongs to a lawyer.

this garage always have some vintage cars in for repair.

well badge on its rear says 200D,i was not able to take rear pics because i there wasn't enough room for me to stand and click pics

As JayD mentioned it's a petrol car which is dieselised and badge would also be aftermarket.
