T Model Ford circa 1940 owned by the Andersons. It literally had no body and was just a square box roped to the chassis. There were no mud guards and the horn was placed next to the driver's seat - not really a seat but an old petrol tank with cushions on top.

Donald Anderson (1934-2014) was the son of the hunter and author Kenneth Anderson.The book 'The Last White Hunter' is his biography and captures the changes in the jungles of south India and Bangalore during his lifetime.

Dear Experts need your assistance here.

This photo is of my late father's first car - it is the car in the foreground. Year is 1953. Location is England. It was a second hand car and probably from the 1930s. It was scrapped in August 1959. I do not know the make or model of the car. I asked my mother what type of car was it. And as only a matriarch can respond she said it was an embarrassment. Clearly as a young bride she didn't like being driven around in an old car and a new one her young groom couldn't afford! Understandably I did not persist with that line of enquiry. All I know is that it was a British make. Over to you.

To my untrained eye, it looks like a a Wolseley Ten (10/40), probably post-war, ca 1946 -1948. It was also produced in 1939, with a break for WWII.
