Here is a look at all the important car launches expected to take place in February 2022.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR facelift

Maruti Suzuki is said to be gearing up to introduce a facelift version of its WagonR hatchback. The facelift will come with minor cosmetic updates, along with a few new features. However, the car will remain mechanically identical to the outgoing version.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift

Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the facelifted Baleno in the Indian market sometime this month. The hatchback is expected to receive some significant updates, both in terms of design and features. Dealers have also started accepting unofficial bookings for the refreshed Baleno.

Mechanically, the updated Baleno will get the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.2-litre DualJet mild-hybrid engines as the current version of the car. While a 5-speed manual gearbox will be offered as standard, Maruti could replace the CVT gearbox with an AMT transmission.

Kia Carens

The Carens is an all-new product from Kia for India. It is based on the modified Seltos platform. Kia is expected to launch the Carens in the market sometime later this month, although the exact date is yet to be announced. Bookings for the MPV though has already begun.

The Kia Carens carries over the engine and transmission combinations from the Seltos. These include a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol with 138 BHP / 242 Nm, 1.5-litre petrol with 115 BHP / 144 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel with 115 BHP / 250 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and a 7-speed DCT.

Jeep Compass Trailhawk facelift

Jeep is planning to introduce the facelifted version of the Compass Trailhawk sometime this month. The off-road focussed version of the SUV is expected to receive minor cosmetic updates, both on the inside and outside. It will, however, continue to be powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.

MG ZS EV facelift

MG could introduce the updated version of its ZS EV offering in India this month. The car will come with a design similar to the Astor (petrol-powered ZS).

While MG is yet to announce the electric powertrain that will be available in the India-spec ZS EV facelift, the international model gets a 51 kWh battery pack offering a range of 317 km. There is also a 72 kWh battery pack option, with a range of 437 km on a single charge.

Audi Q7 facelift

Audi has confirmed that the Q7 facelift will go on sale in India from February 3, 2022.

The Q7 facelift will feature a bunch of cosmetic and mechanical updates over the previous model. Audi will offer the SUV in two variants: Premium Plus and Technology. Both variants will be powered by a single 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine with an automatic transmission and come with Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system as standard.
