From your answers, I might have to get an AMP. Will consider that as well.
then dont go further...Buy the Illusion Audio Luccent Series solid sound...few pics...

There are some speakers from the above list which can be more expensive than your budget (12K) and some less.
I would suggest you to follow your listening tastes. If you want smooth sound which contains very less fatigue, then Hertz Energy and JL audio components are worth a mention here.
I haven't listened to Illusion carbon series so cannot comment on that.

The Illusion Lucent series cost Rs. 11,500/- and fall in your budget. The Infinity Kappa series speakers are great too and fall in your budget. Both are brilliant speakers.

I don't know about the availability of Illusion in Bangalore though.

I meant 12K for both Front and Rear speakers put together. Does the Illusion Luccent Series consist of both?

No

They come in pairs but you can go for electra series also if one is tight in budget.

But If I would be in your position I would have gone for speaker in the front only.

I am sorry too, I didn't read that well. For that combination I think Infinity Reference series with discounts should do you good. Models to look for are Ref 6020 for fronts and Ref 9623i for the rear. From the Illusion Electra series you can opt for the EL 6.1 (Front components) for Rs. 6490/- and El 693* (Rear 6x9's) for Rs. 5,250/- a excellent SQ combination.

That will be nice.

But being a Hertz fan, I would recommend to take a look (and listen) at Hertz Energy series before you make the decision.

Did I say I missed one of my important questions?

# Is it necessary to change the wires/cables even if there is no AMP? (Are there any other than that come with the speakers?)

Need advice in upgrading ICE in Safari

hi All

i wanna update my current ICE setup in Safari in a cost effective manner so wud appreciate all the advice from u GURUs

the current setup is

HU is -- KDC-MP 4032(3 sets of 4 volt pre-amp outputs)

4 Sony XS-GF1622(16 cm) for all 4 doors

2 Pioneer TS-A6972R and a 10" kenwood subwoofer(cudnt find the model no)

1 Sony 554 Amp running the sub and pioneer 6x9s in the boot

the door speakers are all running from HU directly.

the setup is ok types but still its lacking sometimes.the main problem is that it seems everything is happening in the boot, shall i switch to some comps in place of door speakers?

do i need to get another Amp for running the door speakers if then wats the best bet?

Please advise mods in current ICE setup and further updates as i'm not a technical guy but i need gud sound.

thanks

You should upgrade the front speakers and you can use the HU to drive the pio 6x9 and the 554 to drive the upgraded front speakers.
