Well here is the thing, you can pay Rs 60 a month for 50gb iCloud storage which is Rs 720/Year for having 50gb in the cloud. You can offset your photos/videos and music to the cloud. With that a 16gb might be still usable this year. But I feel 64gb is definitely the minimum ill be comfortable with.

Re: The iPhone Thread

just a query to iphone users
does Truecaller work on iphone
I heard it's cumbersome, need to press home button & power button simultaneously when incoming calls come in to know the identity of the caller
why is it so complicated, in works smoothly on Android phones

The reason for the complication is because apple doesnt allow such access permissions to third party apps.
The apple environment is very very closed down as compared, benefits are, everything is much more secure.
Also, truecaller running on androids all the time is a resource hog.

It doesn't work as it works in an android phone. But you can add Truecaller as a widget on the "Today" screen and when you copy the number you want to identify, it will show the name of the person automatically.

Again not the perfect solution, but some workaround.

iPhone 6 gold 16gb is priced at 36,999 on snapdeal.

I'm a Android user (Xiaomi Mi3) planning to upgrade to iPhone (swipe the card & convert to 12 months EMI)
was thinking of buying iPhone 6s rose gold, but at 62,000, feel its too costly

for a android user, would there be much diffence between 6 & 6S.
your suggestions please

Why would you buy from abroad when you can get it at the same price or even cheaper here?

Not really, its just the 3D Touch, Improved camera and processor. But thats not enough to warrant the price difference. Go for it!

My opinion, go for the 64gb. I bought the 16gb in december last year, and 62k was absolutely out of budget that time.
The apps on the iphone are complete hogs. Ive got about 3Gb of music, 5-600 photos, and the essential apps( no space hogs). And barely have 1gb free. A 2 minute slow mo video is enough to fill that up.
So unless you are the kinds who keeps the phone completely empty, go for the 64gb if you do buy it.
(Just as a pointer: facebook takes 140mb of space, along with its huge cache, which can easily go upto 500mb in a few days).

In terms of difference, yes there is a difference, but not worth the 25k difference at all.

Its has been noted worldwide that the iphone 6 had bending issue at some angles . While it will not happen to every one why would you want to take any chance. As per Apple, 6S has been made from new material and does not have face this issue. Apart from above 6 s also has more ram i.e. 2 GB.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Anyone facing issues with iPhone 6 plus with ios. 9.0.2 ? Battery has improved no doubt, But several annoying things like, Screen rotates automatically even though screen rotation is OFF, No sounds while receiving notifications, Wifi won't get connected etc.

Also iPhone 6s is for 52,000 INR in UAE.

Just get the 64 GB please. You'll thank yourself for years! 16GB is a pain - period.

Same apps on iphone are 1.5-2.5x the size compared to Android.

The phone is fully worth the price but 16GB is a cruel joke by Apple. I ran out of memory within one month of starting to use the phone.

Thanks
Not really. 10-15% in a few cases. Nothing earth shaking. Each of those apple apps is 500 MB apiece. I would suggest 64 GB anyday.
