iOS 10.3 is out. Apple introduces new file system called APFS. The update freed some storage space , I got around 2 gb space freed from iPhone SE after the update. Siri can now tell scores for cricket matches and ipl matches. I am not seeing any major issues or bugs so far now.

Hello IPhone gurus.

I have a quick query. I have a MacBook Air and iPhone 7. Both devices are associated with my 1 id.

On several occasions I am out at work and my MacBook is at home and I want to use it for FaceTime with my family. Now is it possible for me to use that same id to do FaceTime from one device to another?

Yes you can.
Even on a single apple id, the receiving and calling addresses/numbers can be different. Keep caller and receiving id for the iPhone as your phone number, and associate the Mac with your apple id/mail id.
I have 4 devices running on the same id, and use facetime for communication if required.

Hello Guys, I had bought an iPhone5 back in 2014 from Canada and been using it with some clone sim. Now after upgrading it to iOS 10, the clone sim is not recognized and asking for carrier unlock if I want to sim other than Bell (Its currently locked to carrier Bell). My question is, would anybody know how to get an iPhone carrier unlocked. I see many website claiming to do that but I am very skeptical spending 6-7K for the unlock and not get results.

Any inputs would be highly appreciated. Thank you!

I once used this online service for a relative's iPhone 6 Plus. Worked fine and its been more than a year and absolutely no issues. Once unlocked remains unlocked even after software resets and OS re-installs. Though, I dont remember the price being so high - I must have paid in the range of 3-4K.

If it is 2014 phone, why dont you try getting in touch with the network provider and request for an unlock code? If the initial contract period is over they should oblige, once done it is just matter of connecting phone to iTunes and check for updates.

Its a brand new piece. I got a March 2017 manufactured one. I got it for 26,999 a week back. The device is running fine and I updated it to 10.3 also. It comes with 10.2.1 pre installed.

Just picked up an iPhone 7 plus 128gb for 54k from the US. Purchased it for a friend. Am wondering now if I should swap my 6 plus phone out as well. Anyone know what the current cash back offer is working out to net at India istores?
