I am assuming your friend is using iPhone and he wants to have all his contacts on google also along with icloud.
Options:
1. He can configure cardDav account on iPhone (google gives you best info on configuration).
2. Use some free apps available in appstore to do this job like 'sync contacts' etc. Repeat this process time to time to have latest data synced.

There is no automatic way to activate syncing between icloud and google.

Turn on contacts sync for iCloud on the iOS device . Once all the contacts are on the device ,add the google account on same device and allow contacts sync .

Thank you, you've to remove the case the screen guard for the OC lens to fit. I've used it and can live with a few scratches the lens phone combo is that good you don't need a camera for travel at all, coupled with Adobe PS Express app the image can be edited in cam itself and shared on the go. It just takes minutes to edit an image.

BLR guys, any pointers towards repairing iPhone 6+ in BLR? Needs a battery change as the (once replaced) battery has bulged out.

I had given it to iservice.co.in but did not like their attitude.

Assuming that there are no duplicate contacts on both of the accounts.

1. Login your iCloud account and export contacts (vCard) and save it to your computer.

2. Login to your Gmail account and import the vCard saved on your computer from step-1

You can also export from Gmail and Import to iCloud. If you happen to know an automated process. Please do share. Thanks!

Is this iRepair an authorized service wing of Apple? My 9 month old iPhone SE's Proximity sensor has failed and the screen won't go off while placing calls which gets the speaker / HOLD buttons activated accidentally. While I cannot believe an Apple device behaves this way, I would want to replace the same while it's still under warranty.

Also looking for expert suggestions on best Apple Authorized Service Center in Chennai in terms of quality of repair / cust. satisfaction.

This is not an authorised service centre but a third party quality repair option, which I believe is of no use to you in this case.

You don't need to worry about repair quality at all. The service centre would simply replace your iPhone with a refurbished unit Customer satisfaction however may depend on whether they replace the phone immediately (they do if they have one in stock) or order it and get it within a few days. Don't forget to take a full backup on iTunes before heading to the service centre.
