I want to buy a micro SD card for the Galaxy Note II. I have been recording and playing a lot of video in HD (I think it is 1080p recording) over the inbuilt memory of the phone. I am considering either a 32gb or 64gb card.

My question is, do I need to go for a class 6 or class 10 card to handle HD video read and write? Or will a normal class 4 do just fine? Also, I hope the Note II is compatible with these faster cards?
Class 4 will suffice, dont worry.
Try for a sandisk, or something, not something unknown.
Because it may be class 10, but behave much worse.

And of course, if you can, go for the higher class.

How are you guys managing to keep the home so clean??
Or is this the virgin screen, before actual usage and laying down of shortcuts?

Its just to show off your screen. I use a folder at the home screen to keep the most used app.

Nice one there. Maybe reduce the text size a little?

Lol! No man, mine is the regular use one. Have hidden a few shortcuts here and there. Like the operator logo takes me to settings, the RAM figure to manage apps etc.

Right now looking for icons with some amount of transparency.

Anyone tried UCCW? (Ultimate Custom Widgets) It is an awesome widget application with which you can create just about any widget with your own selection of text, color, images and background.

You can simply use Kies to backup all your data into PC. No need to sync up with google. Simple download latest Kies and backup.

Also, now I got hold of Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE and it is fantastic phone to use. It is not released in India, so have to brought it down from outside.

I have watched a lot of HD videos over normal class 4. Never faced any issues.

Suggested Google because that's the standard protocol that most android users follow. When you switch phones to a different brand, KIES doesn't help.

Even if you loose your fone, since all your contacts remain synced with your google account in real time you don't even have to bother about the most precious piece of info getting lost. I'm not aware of KIES offering any such benefits. Personally, that's one of the crappiest sw I have ever come across till date.

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Have a 2 year old SGS i-9000. Was on MIUI GB ROM for a few months, but lately seeing some random reboots. Hence thought of trying out the CM10 nightlies. And its been pretty good , i would suggest you to upgrade the kernel to the Semaphore JB 2.5.0 one as well, the phone has been more responsive after changing to semaphore.

Looks awesome. These effects are exclusive to teagra3 devices. Please try out Need for speed Most Wanted also. Controls are a bit tacky. It plays well on my gnote. Should be a dream on Nexus7. Even dead trigger has these effects exclusive to teagra devices.

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Just FYI, Micromax A110 going for 8888 for the next 23.xx hours. Sounds like a good deal going by the reviews I have read here.

http://superdeals.homeshop18.com/dea...htc-superdeal/

Though still not convinced if I want to take the plunge or not.

For how much you are getting N7 32GB version? It is one of the best 7 inch tabs out there.
