Jeep Meridian offered with a discount of Rs 1.35 lakh

According to media reports, Jeep is offering a discount of up to Rs 1.35 lakh on the Meridian. Attractive discounts are not only being offered on the older model but also on the recently launched updated Meridian.



As per reports, Jeep is offering benefits of up to Rs 1.35 lakh on the older version of the Meridian, with the top-spec Overland trim getting the highest benefits. It includes a cash discount of Rs 80,000, a loyalty bonus of Rs 30,000, and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. These vary depending on the variant.

Jeep is reportedly offering discounts of up to Rs 30,000 on the 2025 edition of the Meridian. The SUV was launched just last week with prices starting at Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).

The updated Meridian is powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine as before. It produces 167 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission and optional 4-wheel drive.

I have 2019 Brezza AMT. It was replaced because of AMT oil leakage. At the time of replacement the car had run almost 90,000 Kms. I did not pay anything because it was covered under warranty.

And regarding the reliability of the AMT unit. I think it is pretty reliable. My friend has been using 2 Maruti AMTs (Brezza and Baleno). Both are running without any issues.

Jimny discounts are a real gamble. It was at its peak (discount) in July, down in August and now, even further down. You never know how Maruti will behave and what they are producing. Excess inventory at factory, dealer stock yard etc., are things which we might not exactly know. There may be more discounts in Jan 2025 for 2024 cars (logically), but again, we don't know. Apart from Maruti discount, Maruti Finance offer, the dealer could stretch another 40K, that is the best I have heard, so take your pick

Regarding the FUN quotient - Yes IT IS, not just for weekend, but for daily drive as well, so comfortable and easy!

There is nill stock available with dealers and is the case with MSIL. If you book a car , MSIL will allot to the respective dealer and divert the stock from their yard upon availability. A big dealer in our city is selling max 1-2 Jimny per month. Waiting period is more than a month after booking confirmation.If you are lucky there may be a car available from booking cancellation or some really old unsold stock with minor defects

I just inquired with the MSIL Mangalore dealer and they have a few Jimnys in their stock yard. So do the Goa dealer from where I am trying to buy one. They have a few in their yard. I am hoping if they can offer a higher discount than what's offered as of now.

Discounts depend on MSIL game plan, its a well kept secret and dealers are notified 15 days in advance. I highly doubt the stock availablity. On average 2.5-3 lks discounts are good, but consider new stock.

Yes indeed. I have booked the car, as you mentioned the dealer stretched their offer to around the same figure apart from the offers in October.

There are no ready stocks of the car at least not beyond 1-2 units. Luckily the dealer had the variant-color I had in mind in transit from Maruti. Got the VIN number too and it seems to be a pretty new car, month old.

Right now trying to patiently wait for the car to reach my city.

If you can wait, do that and try to push for Dec Mid to end and that should help you in twisting their arm more. I currently am looking for Elevate as well and i know that 1.2 lac is easily offered here. So try other dealers as well
