Right now, I was offered a Oct 2024 Alpha AT with a flat 2.5 Lakh discount (Finance Discount + Cash Discount) and I don't think there are many 2024 models around in Chennai so I'm not sure about how to bargain further. But thank you for the reference. The discounts in Trivandrum seem to be much lesser and they only have Zeta in stock from 2024. For 2025, the discounts I've heard are all around 25,000 to 30,000.

And yes, I was feeling the same about the discounts here in India after considering the demand in exports. Will update after checking around further.

Hey, Does anyone have a good dealer for Skoda and/or VW looking at the Skoda Kushaq Signature MT or Sportline MT and VW Taigun Highline Plus MT. I'm in Jaipur and the local dealers aren't all that interested in moving MY24 stock. Any help would be appreciated. I also heard some dealers have MY23 stock left, any truth to that?

Mahindra Thar, Scorpio offered with Rs 1.25 lakh discount

This month, Mahindra is offering discounts of up to Rs 1.25 lakh on the Thar, Scorpio N and XUV700.



According to a media report, Mahindra is offering benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh on the Thar 4WD, Rs 50,000 on 2WD diesel variants, and Rs 1.25 lakh on the 2WD petrol trims. The discounts only apply to the unsold MY2024 stock.

Similarly, the MY2024 Scorpio Classic is also available with benefits of up to Rs 1.25 lakh. The base S variant gets the highest benefits, while the S11 trim is offered with a discount of Rs 90,000. The MY2025 Scorpio Classic is available with benefits of up to Rs 90,000.

Coming to the Scorpio N, discounts of Rs 35,000 and Rs 40,000 are being offered on the MY2024 Scorpio N Z2 and Z8 S variants and Rs 80,000 on the Z8 and Z8 L trims. Z4 and Z6 trims get benefits of up to Rs 90,000, while the same variants of MY2025 models get up to Rs 20,000 discount.

The XUV700 is available with benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh. The AX7 variants attract the highest benefits, with the MX and AX3 variants offered with benefits of up to Rs 60,000 and Rs 50,000, respectively. The AX5 variants come with benefits of up to Rs 50,000, while the AX5 S trims get a discount of Rs 20,000. The carmaker is also offering a discount of Rs 20,000 on MY2025 models.

Hi Aditya, I am in the same boat as you. Looking at a Tiguan / Kodiaq and Tanya Cars and Sasha Skoda can't be less bothered. They either don't have any inventory, or just have other businesses where they make enough money to not care about sales from these showrooms.

I have asked for contacts on the forum and @AutoLearner is going to hit me up with his sales guy in Delhi.

I got a quote for a Virtus Highline MT MY 24 car, the dealer says it's sitting in a diff city. Came to their yard 20/25 days ago. They're quoting 14 lac on road for the Highline MT, this cost is ex + tcs + insurance+ rto + fastag + accessories ( except for dash cam)

Is there any scope for further negotiations?

This is the deal I negotiated in the Mid-Oct 2024 (When Official discount were around INR 280000, Right now I think they are around INR 450000 for Feb 2024). Car was bought via Company Lease program.

• Ex-Showroom: INR 3516900
• RTO-Gurgaon(Including Hypothecation Charges): INR 356020
• Extended Warranty: 68999
• Service Value Package (4 Years): 90499
• Accessories: Must Have kit, Scuff Plate, Boot Mat: INR 48000
• TCS: 35169

Company Discount: INR 100000
Corporate Discount (Lease): INR 50000
Dealer Discount: INR 289587

Dealer Price: INR 3676000

Eventually dealer didn't have Scuff Plate & Bootmat, so INR 17000 was refunded back.

Dealer was Liftech VW Dwarka Delhi. Sales Guy- Akshay (9773984653), Manager- Gaurav(9355584165). I found this dealer to be most eager to make a sale as well.
Just a heads up, few dealers add around 15K-20K processing charges in the RTO charges. Do get the breakup of RTO charges.

New-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire prices hiked for the first time

Maruti Suzuki has revised the prices of the new-gen Dzire for the first time since its launch. Prices have been increased by up to Rs 10,000.



Prices of the LXi MT, VXi MT, VXi CNG, ZXi CNG and ZXi+ AMT have gone up by Rs 5,000, while those of the VXi AMT and ZXi AMT variants have increased by Rs 10,000.

The fourth-generation Dzire was launched in November last year. The popular compact sedan is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 81 BHP and 112 Nm. It is paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT.

The Dzire is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit. In CNG mode, the 1.2-litre engine delivers 69 BHP @ 5,700 rpm and 102 Nm @ 2,900 rpm. The CNG version is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.

A friend in my hometown checked out this month. The Alpha variant was quoted around ₹32 lakh, which is a whopping ₹5.5 lakh discount!

Even if it's missing some of the features of the Hycross, it's still an obvious choice at that price.
