I am in the market for a diesel hatch. The only question that remains is if Tata is going to launch the AMT version at launch. If yes, then the Altroz is worth waiting for.

Although many have not liked the design of Altroz, I think it looks pretty neat. If only it had the international spec alloys. A JTP version of the Altroz seems very interesting to look forward to.

Great catch Karan! I liked the looks in these pics. Taillights look harrier-esque and quite awesome!

Nice catch! I guess this color will be to the Altroz what the Orange is to the Harrier. Tata will use this color everywhere - from promotional material to launch events.

Since Altroz is named after a bird, this color reminds me of the term "Sone ki Chidiya"

Isn't this in Malad, the road behind Inorbit mall? I saw it there yesterday in the afternoon. It was being filmed for a TVC. The launch seems near.
Oh, and the car had presence, looks really smart.

Yes, but i still believe it could have been slightly subtle, It seems its trying too hard to be futuristic.

Great catch, Karan! The design is a fresh breath of air in a sea more-or-less mundane hatchback designs. That said, doesn't the derriere of the Altroz remind anyone of the second-gen Porsche Panamera, slightly?

Yes, some may find this too futuristic. They could have tried reducing the black section on the boot.

This Altroz looks quite similar on the frame to the elite i20. I am actually excited to see the competition rising for Hyundai in terms of design innovation and creature comforts from our own Tata, an Indian brand.

I just hope tata does not ruing this by powering it with the 1.2 L 3 pot petrol coupled with an AMT.

this car begs a good petrol (maybe a turbo petrol) with a proper AT.
